Abstract

Un motor marino diesel que comprende: una sola bancada de la máquina; dos motores unitarios en disposición paralela que tiene sus partes inferiores integralmente unidas a dicha bancada de la máquina, teniendo cada motor unitario una pluralidad de cilindros dispuestos verticalmente y un cigüeñal; las partes comunes incluyen por lo menos un tubo de expulsión de los gases quemados conectado a dichos dos motores unitarios; y un dispositivo de engranaje conectado al cigüeñal de dichos dos motores unitarios y que tiene un solo árbol de salida adaptado para comunicarse con un árbol de propulsión de hélice.
