Procedimiento para preparar benzo [5,6] ciclohepta[1,2-c] pirinas, de fórmula I, *** en donde R1 es hidrógeno, alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, fluor, cloro o bromo, R3 es hidrógeno o alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, y R4 es hidrógeno o alquilo de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono.
