Abstract
Un procedimiento para la preparación de amoxicilina de sodio sólida útil para su administración parenteral con mayor pureza y estabilidad mejorada y con un contenido en agua del 3% en peso y de disolvente orgánico de 1,5% en peso, cuyo procedimiento comprende: a) suspender trihidrato de amoxicilina en una mezcla de agua e isopropanol; b) adicionar a la suspensión procedente de la etapa anterior una base disuelta en el disolvente adecuado, seleccionados entre el grupo formado por hidróxido sódico/agua e isopropóxido de sodio/isopropanol, en una proporción suficiente para efectuar una disolución completa; c) someter la solución procedente de la etapa anterior a un proceso de secado por pulverización para obtener un sólido con bajo contenido de impurezas y con la cantidad de agua e isopropanol máxima antes señalada.
