Abstract
Proceso para la fabricación de un preparado destinado al tratamiento de Herpes-Zoster, caracterizado por el hecho de inocular cultivos de células con virus variólicos o para-variólicos (Familia : Poxviridae), y en el punto álgido de la multiplicación de los virus, se recolectan y depuran dichos virus; la cosecha de virus depurada, se ajusta a un título o contenido de aproximadamente 5 x 10 6 hasta 5 x 10 8 ID50/ml de suspensión de utilización del virus; mediante radiaciones con rayos gamma, se efectúa una destrucción selectiva de los ácidos nucleínicos del virus sin que ello implique la destrucción o modificación de las restantes estructuras virales, en especial de las estructuras de superficie del virus, de la proteína del virus y de las sustancias envolventes; y a continuación en su caso, se procesa y trata el virus con estabilizadores y/o otras sustancias auxiliares, hasta conseguir un preparado para aplicación intraperitoneal o local.
