Abstract

Mejoras introducidas en el objeto de la patente principal nº 460.182, concedida el 20 de Julio de 1978, por: "perfeccionamientos en cajas de guantes en las que se forman gases nitrosos", del tipo que comprenden un sistema colector de aire de salida, en el que en el tratamiento con medios radiactivos, como por ejemplo soluciones de ácido nítrico, se producen vapores nitrosos, estando la caja de guantes dotada de dispositivos que constan de un cartucho con paredes frontales porosas, lleno de carbono activo, con una calefacción eléctrica ajustable, regulable hasta aproximadamente 600ºC, para la transformación química de los vapores nitrosos en sustancias tales que puedan conducirse al sistema de aire de salida a través de filtros en sí conocidos, caracterizadas porque entre el cartucho de carbón activo y el filtro de aire de salida está dispuesto un cartucho catalizador para la transformación de CO en gas CO2.
