Abstract
Un procedimiento para polimerizar etileno o una mezcla de éste con una ó más 1-olefinas distintas copolimerizables con él, utilizándose estas últimas en una proporción de hasta 40% en peso, procedimiento que comprende poner en contacto el monómero bajo condiciones de polimerización en forma de partícula a una temperatura no mayor de 112ºC, con un catalizador (A) preparado disponiendo trióxido de cromo o un compuesto de cromo calcinable que le proporcione, sobre un material de soporte de óxido refractario, y calentado a una temperatura por lo menos suficiente para producir un catalizador activo, y un modificador de catalizador (B) que comprende (1) un dieno alifático y (2) un trihidrocarbil-boro.
