Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de N-fosfonometilglicina (PMG), caracterizado por el hecho de que se disuelve glicina en una solución alcohólica de formaldehido y de una base terciaria, se añade, a la solución terminada, un dialcoilfosfito y, después de la reacción, se opera una hidrólisis alcalina, obteniendo la precipitación de la N- fosfonometilglicina por acidificación sucesiva.
