EL ESPACIO COMPRENDIDO ENTRE LA VAINA Y LA FIBRA OPTICA TIENE UN ESPESOR DE 20-200MILIMETROS Y SE RELLENA DE UNA LACA LIQUIDA POCO SENSIBLE A LA TEMPERATURA Y LA HUMEDAD, CON UNA VISCOSIDAD MAXIMA DE 50 CP., Y QUE SE CURA DENTRO DE LA VAINA. DESPUES SE ELIMINA EL ESFUERZO DE TRACCION SOBRE LA VAINA, QUEDANDO LA FIBRA OPTICA SOMETIDA A COMPRENSION AXIAL.
