PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE DERIVADOS DE BENZOIL- Y <007>-HIDROXIBENCILFENIL-OXIDOS, DE FORMULA (I), Y DE SUS DIATEROISOMEROS CUANDO Z ES CHOH, DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE Z ES CO O CHOH; R ES UN RADICAL OXO; Y X -X PUEDEN SER VARIOS RADICALES. CONSISTE EN LA REACCION DE UN DERIVADO DE FENILFENOL DE FORMULA (II), EN LA QUE A ES HIDROGENO, SODIO O POTASIO, Y LOS DEMAS SIMBOLOS TIENEN EL MISMO SIGNIFICADO QUE EN LA FORMULA (I), CON UN DERIVADO OXO, TAL COMO HALOGENOACILOXOS O ACILOXOS. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN UN DISOLVENTE INERTE, A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 0<025>C Y LA DE REFLUJO DEL MEDIO DE REACCION.
