CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UNA 2,4-DIAMINOBENCILPIRIMIDINA DE FORMULA GENERAL (I) EN QUE R ES METOXI O METOXIETOXI CON UNA CANTIDAD CORRESPONDIENTE DE ACIDO EMBONICO O DE UNA DE SUS SALES DE METALES ALCALINOS EN UN DISOLVENTE, PREFERENTEMENTE A TEMPERATURA ELEVADA O DE EBULLICION; A CONTINUACION SE DEJA SEPARAR POR CRISTALIZACION EL EMBONATO MEDIANTE ENFRIAMIENTO DE LA SOLUCION. EL PRODUCTO SE FILTRA, LAVA Y SECA Y SE MEZCLA EN FORMA MICRONIZADA, EVENTUALMENTE JUNTO CON UNA SULFONAMIDA, CON SUBSTANCIAS AUXILIARES Y EXCIPIENTES USUALES.
