Abstract

Four à air chaud pour le réchauffage d'aliments cuits. Des plats à couvercle étanche sont empilés dans des casiers ajourés rangés en cercle sur une console 22 surmontant une table tournante 20, autour d'une zone centrale 24. Un ensemble chauffant en deux sections 29, 30 chauffe de l'air qu'une hélice 26 répartit sur un trajet annulaire en boucle fermée contournant les plats. Les deux sections chauffantes assurent ensemble le réchauffage des plats, lesquels sont ensuite maintenus à température par la seule section 30. Un moteur M fait tourner l'empilage annulaire, qui traverse au cours d'une révolution une zone chaude et une zone très chaude, cet expédient rendant la transmission de chaleur plus rapide. Application dans les restaurants à service rapide.
