Abstract
Procédé pour engendrer un gradient de contraintes dans le sens de l'épaisseur d'un ruban métallique sans fin. On courbe le ruban selon un rayon tel qu'il se produit dans le métal une déformation plastique. On soumet le ruban à une sollicitation en traction, sollicitation que l'on maintient pendant l'opération de cintrage. La sollicitation en traction est telle, que sur la face intérieure du ruban, dans le sens radial, il ne se produit pas de déformation plastique. Application : préparation de rubans métalliques sans fin utilises comme courroies d'entraînement.
