Abstract

Cette invention concerne un accouplement élastique. Cet accouplement comprend un certain nombre d'éléments d'accouplement cylindriques écartés de façon uniforme, montés axialement entre un plateau moteur et un plateau mené. Ces éléments élastiques peuvent résister par déformation à un déplacement angulaire relatif entre les plateaux moteur et mené avec un premier module d'élasticité lorsque les couples se trouvent dans une fourchette inférieure. Quand le couple atteint la limite supérieure de cette fourchette, des cuvettes de réception montées sur les plateaux moteur et mené viennent coopérer avec les éléments d'accouplement et soutiennent ces derniers vis-à-vis des efforts de torsion, de sorte que les éléments travaillent alors avec un second module d'élasticité. Un accouplement de ce type est utilisé notamment en combinaison avec des moteurs à combustion interne pour isoler les parties situées en aval de l'accouplement vis-à-vis des vibrations provenant du moteur.
