Abstract

Les comprimés de l'invention sont constitués de : a. Une portion à libération rapide constituée de 3 à 9 % par rapport au poids total du comprimé de nitrofurantoïne micronisée et de 8 à 46 % par rapport au poids total du comprimé d'excipients pharmaceutiques inertes; et de b. Une portion à liberation lente constituée de 9 à 27 % par rapport au poids total du comprimé de nitrofurantoïne micronisée, de 14 à 42 % par rapport au poids total du comprimé d'hydroxypropylméthylcellulose ayant une viscosité de 90 à 120 cP et de 8 à 42 % par rapport au poids total du comprimé d'excipients pharmaceutiques inertes. L'invention s'applique en particulier à des comprimés utiles en thérapeutique humaine pour le traitement des infections urinaires évitant les effets secondaires indésirables de la nitrofurantoïne.
