Abstract

Invention concernant des fours. Pour à cuve verticale, dont la chambre cylindrique de fusion présente une ouverture de chargement par gravité à sa partie supérieure et une série de chalumeaux (plasmatrons) montés, inclinés vers le bas, dans ses parois latérales à sa partie inférieure, avec des enveloppes réfractaires empêchant leur endommagement par la descente de la charge, tout en les montant assez près de celle-ci. Application à la fusion rapide de minerais ou déchets métalliques.
