Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de charbon actif, caractérisé par le fait que des échangeurs d'ions organiques, en grains, du type gel, sont carbonisés en atmosphère majoritairement inerte, à des températures de 600 à 900degré C, puis sont activés à une température de 800 à 900degré C dans une atmosphère oxydante. La présente invention concerne également les perles de charbon actif obtenues par ce procédé. Ce charbon actif présente une répartition des pores avec un spectre étroit de mésopores dans la plage de 100 à 300 A et seulement peu de macropores.
