Abstract

La présente invention concerne un navire récupérateur de déchets océaniques. L'objectif de l'invention est de proposer un moyen pour récupérer les déchets flottants dans les mers. Cet objectif est atteint par un navire (1) récupérateur de déchets océaniques comportant au moins deux coques latérales (2) qui déterminent un bassin (3) entre elles. Le navire selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que le bassin (3) est ouvert à ses deux extrémités (6, 7) et comporte plusieurs sections (11, 12, 13) successives de la proue (6) vers la poupe (7) du navire (1) dont chacune est équipée d'au moins un dispositif de ramassage (21, 22, 23), les dispositifs de ramassage (21, 22, 23) de chaque section (11, 12, 13) étant apte à ramasser des objets de taille différente, les sections (11, 12, 13) étant agencées de telle manière qu'un dispositif apte à ramasser des objets plus petits est agencé derrière un dispositif apte à ramasser des objets plus grands.
