Abstract
ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ Η εφεύρεσις αυτή σχετίζεται με εργαλεία με ένα δεσμευμένο (συνδεμένο) υλικό εκτριβής (λειαντικό υλικό), ιδίως δε με τροχούς λειάνσεως που περιλαμβάνουν γενικά χωριστούς κόκκους εκτριβής διαβαθμισμένου μεγέθους ανάμικτους με ένα ιδιαίτερο συνεχές δεσμευτικό υλικό όπως με ύαλο, με σκληρυμένη ρητίνη ή με μέταλλο. Ορισμένοι από τους κόκκους εκτριβής είναι ένα από τα υλικά τα γνωστά σαν "υπερλειαντικά", όπως διαμάντια, κυβικό νιτρίδιο βορίου (CΒN) ή παρόμοια. Τα διαμάντια και το CΒΝ μπορεί να είναι μονοκρυσταλλικά ή πολυκρυσταλλικά. Τα υπερλειαντικά είναι σημαντικά σκληρότερα και σημαντικά ακριβότερα από τα κλασσικά υλικά εκτριβής όπως από την αλουμίνα, την ζιρκονία-αλουμίνα και το καρβίδιο πυριτίου. ω
