Abstract
1459433 Automatic control POWERSCREEN INTERNATIONAL Ltd 27 March 1974 [30 March 1973] 15502/73 Heading G3N A remote control system for a stockpiling machine comprises a power supply, a transmitter 1, a receiver 2, and a decoder unit 3 which operates solenoid valves 5 through electronic switches 4. Transmitter 1 is crystal controlled and uses pulse sequence modulation or is a dual frequency transmitter. The receiver 2 has automatic gain control and is powered from a supply 30 comprising an alternator 31 a battery 32 and a voltage control unit 33. Decoder unit 3 includes a trigger detector circuit to prevent an intermediate signal state and a lock-out circuit to prevent simultaneous energization of more than one solenoid. A local control may be mounted on the stock-piling machine, the control being rendered operational by switch 6.
