Abstract

Novel prostaglandin derivatives of the formula Ia are prepared by dehydrohalogenation of a compound of the formula III. The dehydrohalogenation is carried out using alkali metal alkoxide. The symbols in formulae Ia and III have the meaning given in Patent Claim 1. The compounds of the formula Ia and their salts have useful pharmacological properties. <IMAGE> [GB1583961A]
