Abstract

Procedimento per la preparazione dell'acido iodesossicolico ad elevata purezza a partire dalla bile suina consistente nel trattamento della bile suina con sodio idrato, isolamento degli acidi iodesossicolico, chenodesossicolico o iocolico per precipitazione dei loro sali di zinco e successiva precipitazione selettiva del sale di magnesio dell'acido iodesossicolico dal quale l'acido iodesossicolico viene liberato mediante acidificazione e poi cristallizzato.
