Abstract

La presente invenzione riguarda un procedimento per l'isolamento di mevinolina dissolvendo l'ingrediente attivo dalla biomassa nel liquido di fermentazione e successivamente separandolo dal liquido di fermentazione filtrato, che comprende il fatto di effettuare la dissoluzione ad un valore pH tra 7,5 e 10,0, preferibilmente tra 8,0 e 9,0, separare l'ingrediente attivo dal liquido filtrato ad un valore pH tra 4,5 ed 1,0, preferibilmente tra 2,2 e 2,0, filtrare e purificare mediante metodi di per sé noti preferibilmente per ricristallizzazione.
