Abstract
يصف الاختراع الحالي عملية لإنتاج حمض كبريتيك بواسطة أكسدة حفزية لـ SO2 إلى SO3 وامتصاص لاحق للـ SO3 في حمض الكبريتيك, حيث يدخل الـ SO3 في مرحلة امتصاص أولى (جهاز امتصاص أولي) ويتم امتصاصه جزئياً على الأقل في حمض الكبريتيك المركز, حيث يتم تزويد الـ SO3 غير الممتص في مرحلة الامتصاص الاولى إلى مرحلة الامتصاص الثانية (جهاز الامتصاص الثاني) لامتصاص المزيد في حمض الكبريتيك المركز, و حيث يتم تبريد حمض الكبريتيك بعد مروره خلال مرحلتي الامتصاص. ويتم إجراء التبريد لحمض الكبريتيك في على الأقل المبادلين الحراريين الموصولين على التوازي, حيث يتم تشغيل واحد على الأقل من المبادلين الحراريين كمبخر جزئي ويتم تبريده بواسطة ماء/بخار تغذية المرجل ويتم تبريد الآخر بماء التبريد وتشغيله كمبرِّد للحمض النقي.
