- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)患者の胸部の中心近くに設置できる形状を有する基部と、 (b)手動アクチュエータと、 (c)胸部の周囲に巻くための、実質的に非弾性のベルトと、 (d)基部上に取り付けられ、アクチュエータに接続され、ベルトの相対する第 1と第2の先端を接続するためのベルトコネクタを有する力変換器であって、ア クチュエータに手動で加えられた胸部に向う力を、基部を通じて胸部に向かう胸 部圧縮合力と、べルトコネクタに加えられ、胸の接線の方向に向うベルト締め付 け合力に変換するための変換器と、 を備えたことを特徴とする、患者の血液の流れを促進するための装置。 2.手動アクチュエータが、第1と第2の握りハンドルを有することを特徴とす る、請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 3.変換器が; (a)第1のハンドルが取り付けられたハンドル側の端部と、その反対側に、ベ ルトの第1の先端が取り付けられたベルト側の端部とを有し、ハンドル側の端部 とベルト側の端部の間の支点で基部に旋回式に取り付けられている第1のアーム と、 (b)第2のハンドルが取り付けられたハンドル側の端部と、その反対側に、ベ ルトの第2の先端が取り付けられたベルト側の端部を有し、ハンドル側の端部と ベルト端側部の間の支点で基部に旋回式に取り付けられている第2のアームとを 備えたことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置。 4.変換器が: (a)ハンドル側の端部が第1のハンドルによってしっかりど連結され、反対側 で、ベルト側の端部が第1の支柱によってしっかりど連結された、間隔をあけて 平行に並ぶ一対のアームを有する第1の組立体で、前記アームは、ハンドル側の 端部とベルト側の端部との間の第1の組立体の支点で基部に旋回式に取り付けら れているものと、 (b)ハンドル側の端部が第2のハンドルによってしっかりと連結され、反対側 で、ベルト側の端部が第2の支柱によってしっかりと連結された、間隔をあけて 平行に並ぶ一対のアームを有する第2の組立体で、前記アームは、ハンドル側の 端部とベルト側の端部の間の第2の組立体の支点で基部に旋回式に取り付けられ ているものとを備えたことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第2項に記載の装置。 5.第1の組立体の対のアームのうちの一本と、第2の組立体の対のアームのう ちの一本が基部の側面に取り付けてあり、第1の組立体の対のアームのうちのも う一方と、第2の組立体の対のアームのうちのもう一方が、基部の反対側の側面 に取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第4項に記載の装置。 6.組立体の支点が、組立体のすべてのアームと基部を通って伸長するピボット ピンと一致することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1項に記載の装置。 7.アームのベルト側の端部と、ハンドル側の端部が長さ方向の軸線を有してお り、それぞれのアームのベルト側の端部の軸線が、同じアームのハンドル側端部 の軸線を横切ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第6項に記載の装置。 8.それぞれのアームのベルト側の端部の軸線と、同じアームのハンドル側の端 部の軸線との間が約120度の角度をなしていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲 第7項に記載の装置。 9.第1のベルトの先端が、各組立体の少なくとも一方のアームのベルト側の端 部に取り付けられるように構成されており、第2のベルトの先端が、各組立体の 少なくとも一方のアームのベルト側の端部に取り付けられるように構成されてい ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第4項に記載の装置。 10.第1のベルトの先端が、第1の支柱に取り付けられるように構成されてお り、第2のベルトの先端が、第2の支柱に取り付けられるように構成されている ことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第4項に記載の装置。 11.さらに、ベルトの先端にファスナを具備していることを特徴とする、請求 の範囲第10項に記載の装置。 12.ファスナがフック材とループ材から成ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 11項に記載の装置。 13.各ベルトの先端までの長さに対応して、ベルトの表面に指標が記されてい ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第11項に記載の装置。 14.指標が、ベルトの長さ方向の軸線を横切る方向の着色帯であることを特徴 とする、請求の範囲第13項に記載の装置。 15.一対の開度制限バーが、第1の組立体の一対のアームの、支点とそれぞれ のアームのハンドル側の端部との間に旋回式に取り付けられ、第2の組立体の一 対のアームとスライド式に取り付けられるように伸長しており、前記開度制限バ ーは、取り付けたアームの相対的な開度を制限するために、基部の同じ側に取り 付けられたアームの間に伸長していることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第5項に記 載の装置。 16.第2の組立体の一対のアームに、開度制限バーが、開度の限度を調整する ために、調整可能に、スライド式に取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求 の範囲第15項に記載の装置。 17.ベルトを取り付けるための硬質の、実質的に平坦な背板を有することを特 徴とする、請求の範囲第4項に記載の装置。 18.背板が、ベルトを通すための、間隔を空けて平行に並ぶ二つの溝穴を有し ていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第17項に記載の装置。 19.背板に、平坦な部分と一体になった隆起部を有し、患者の首を受容し、平 坦な部分の上方に支えるように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 18項に記載の装置。 20.さらに、加圧ガスボンベ、ホースおよび呼吸マスクが、背板の、隆起した 部分の下に格納されていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第19項に記載の装置 。 21.さらに、基部の、胸部に接触している面上に力センサを具備し、基部に力 指示器を具備していることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第20項に記載の装置。 22.さらに、定期的な信号を発生するための信号発生器が基部に取り付けられ ていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第21項に記載の装置。 23.(a)血液の流れを促進する装置の基部を患者の胸部上の、中心近くに置 き; (b)患者の胸部の周りにベルトを巻き: (c)ベルトの相対する第1と第2の両端を装置に固定し; (d)胸部に向って、変換器に取り付けた手動アクチュエータに力を加える; という工程からなる患者を治療するための方法で、前記変換器は、基部とベルト に接続してあり、その力を、胸部方向への胸部圧縮合力と、胸の接線方向へのベ ルト締め付け合力とに変換するように構成されていることを特徴とする方法。 24.力を加える工程が、さらに、一対の握りハンドルを握って、胸部に向う分 力を有する力を加える工程を有する、請求の範囲第23項に記載の方法。 25.患者の血液の流れを促進するための装置であって、 (a)患者の胸部の中心近くに設置できる形状を有する基部と、 (b)アクチュエータと、 (c)胸部の周囲を巻く形状を有する、実質的に非弾性のベルトと; (d)基部上に取り付けられ、アクチュエータに接続され、ベルトの両先端を接 続するためのベルトコネクタを有し、アクチュエータによって加えられた力を、 胸部方向の胸部圧縮合力と、胸部の接線方向のベルト締め付け合力とに変換する 力変換器と、を有することを特徴とする装置。 26.アクチュエータが原動機を有することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第25項 に記載の装置。 27.力変換器が: (a)ハンドル側の端部と、反対側に、ベルトの第1の先端を取り付けるための ベルト側の端部を有し、ハンドル側の端部とベルト側の端部との間の支点で基部 に旋回式に取り付けられている第1のアームと、 (b)第2のハンドルを取り付けるハンドル側の端部と、反対側にベルトの第2 の端部を取り付けるためのベルト側の端部を有し、ハンドル側の端部とベルト側 の端部との間の支点で基部に旋回式に取り付けられている第2のアームとを備え た及ことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第26項に記載の装置。 28.変換手段が; (a)ハンドル側の端部が第1のハンドルによってしっかりと連結され、反対側 で、ベルト側の端部が第1の支柱によってしっかりと連結された、間隔をあけて 平行に並ぶ一対のアームを有する第1の組立体であって、前記アームは、ハンド ル側の端部とベルト側の端部との間の第1の組立体の支点で基部に旋回式に取り 付けられている第1の組立体と、 (b)ハンドル側の端部が第2のハンドルによってしっかりと連結され、反対側 で、ベルト側の端部が第2の支柱によってしっかりと連結された、間隔をあけて 平行に並ぶ一対のアームを有する第2の組立体であって、前記アームは、ハンド ル側の端部とベルト側の端部の間の第2の組立体の支点で基部に旋回式に取り付 けられている第2の組立体と、を備えたことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第26項 に記載の装置。 29.第1の組立体の対のアームのうちの一本と、第2の組立体の対のアームの うちの一本が基部の側面に取り付けてあり、第1の組立体の対のアームのうちの もう一方と、第2の組立体の対のアームのうちのもう一方が、基部の反対側の側 面に取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第28項に記載の装置。 30.組立体の支点が、組立体のすべてのアームと基部を通って伸長するピボッ トピンと一致することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第29項に記載の装置。 31.アームが湾曲していることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第6項に記載の装置 。 32.さらに、一対の相対するアーム上に形成された少なくとも一対の互いに向 いあうショルダを有し、それぞれのアーム上には、一つのショルダが形成されて おり、互いに向き合うショルダの間に溝が形成され、その中に止めピンが伸長し て、相対するアームの相対的な開度を制限することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 5項に記載の装置。 33.さらに、 (a)二本の相対するアームそれぞれの上に形成された三つのショルダであって 、三対の互いに向き合うショルダの間に、長さの異なる三つの溝を形成している ショルダと、 (b)基部上に取り付けられ側板であって、前記側板を貫通して形成された三つ の穴を有し、それぞれの穴が一つの溝に対応するように構成された側板と、 (c)前記穴のうちの一つに挿入され、そこから前記溝のうちの一つに伸長する 止めピンであって、相対するアームの相対的な開度を調節可能に制限するための 止めピンと、を備えたことを特徴とする、請求の範囲第5項に記載の装置。 34.さらに、基部の胸部接触面を胸部に接着するために、基部の胸部接触面上 に取り付けた手段を有することを特徴とする、請求の範囲第4項に記載の装置。 35.接着するための手段が、吸盤から成ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第3 4項に記載の装置。 36.接着するための手段が、接着剤から成ることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第 34項に記載の装置。 37.さらに、間隔を空けた一対の電極が装置に取り付けられており、二つの間 隔をおいた胸部の外側表面を接触させていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲第1 項に記載の装置。 38.第1の電極が基部の外側の胸部接触面に取り付けられており、第2の電極 が装置の胸部接触面の第1の電極から間隔を空けた箇所に取り付けられているこ とを特徴とする、請求の範囲第37項に記載の装置。 39.第2の電極がベルトに取り付けられていることを特徴とする、請求の範囲 第38項に記載の装置。 40.さらに、複数の電極が、ベルトの長さ方向の軸に沿って並んでいることを 特徴とする、請求の範囲第39項に記載の装置。
