Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. マグネシウム金属および/または反応性マグネシウム化合物を、 R1−A−R−OH (I) のタイプのハイドロキシ化合物1種以上と、随意に最大50重量パーセントの R2−OH (II) のタイプのアルコール1種以上とともに、反応させて、液体マグネシウムアルコ キシドを形成することと、随意に、可溶度の低い不純物を分離して加水分解を行 うこととを特徴とする高純度水酸化マグネシウムの製造方法、ただしここで、 (a) Aは、周期系の主基6(酸素基)または主基5(窒素基)の1元素を 示しており、例えばAが主基5の元素ならば、Aは互いに異なりうる付加置換基 R1または酸素を産するものであり、 (b) R、R1、R2は、炭素原子を1ないし10個持つ、分岐または非分岐 、環式または非環式、かつ、飽和または不飽和あるいは芳香族の炭化水素残留物 を示し、R、R1、R2は互いに異なっても良く、Rは2回置換されているもので ある。 2. マグネシウム金属を使用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3. R、R1は、炭素原子を1ないし5個持つ、分岐または非分岐、飽和炭化 水素残留物を示し、R、R1は互いに異なっても良く、Rは2回置換されている ものである、先行請求項のうちのいずれか1つに記載の方法。 4. R2は、炭素原子を4ないし8個持つ、分岐で非環式の飽和炭化水素残留 物を示すことを特徴とする、先行請求項のうちのいずれか1つに記載の方法。 5. 前記ハイドロキシ化合物は、ハイドロキシ基対Mg原子価の化学量比に関 して、1ないし5倍過剰に使用されることを特徴とする、先行請求項のうちのい ずれか1つに記載の方法。 6. 前記反応は、水酸化マグネシウムを形成するために、溶媒を添加せずに、 実質上排他的に、前記タイプIあるいはIIの前記ハイドロキシ化合物と共にま たはその中で実行されることを特徴とする、先行請求項のうちのいずれか1つに 記載の方法。 7. 前記タイプIのハイドロキシ化合物の前記金属/金属化合物との反応後ま では前記タイプIIのハイドロキシ化合物は添加しないことを特徴とする、先行 請求項のうちのいずれか1つに記載の方法。 8. 加水分解に先行して、合成マグネシウムアルコキシ化合物を低可溶性不純 物から分離することを特徴とする、先行請求項のうちのいずれか1つに記載の方 法。 9. 先行請求項のうちのいずれか1つによる水酸化マグネシウムをか焼するこ とを特徴とする酸化マグネシウムの製造方法。 10. 触媒、および/または、触媒工程用あるいはその製造用の触媒補助とし ての、請求項1ないし9のうちのいずれか1つによって製造された水酸化マグネ シウムまたは酸化マグネシウムの利用。 11. セラミックスまたはセラミック成形物の出発原料としての、請求項1な いし9のうちのいずれか1つによって製造された水酸化マグネシウムまたは酸化 マグネシウムの利用。
