Claims (6)
- 同軸経中隔装置と一緒に使用するための刺通装置であって、
近位端および遠位端を有するフレキシブルなシャフトと、
前記シャフトの前記遠位端にある尖鋭部分と、
前記シャフトの前記遠位端に形成されていて、前記遠位端に沿った前記シャフトの可撓性を増大させる螺旋状切込み区画と、
を備え、
前記シャフトが、前記遠位端のうちの前記螺旋状切込み区画を有した部分に沿って略一定の外径を有して形成されていることを特徴とする刺通装置。 - 請求項1記載の刺通装置において、
前記螺旋状切込み区画が、前記シャフトの長手方向に沿って変動するピッチを含み、それによって前記ピッチが、前記螺旋状切込み区画の近位端よりも前記螺旋状切込み区画の遠位端で狭くなることを特徴とする刺通装置。 - 請求項1記載の刺通装置において、
前記螺旋状切込み区画が、前記シャフトの長手方向に沿って変動する深さを含み、それによって前記深さが、前記螺旋状切込み区画の近位端よりも前記螺旋状切込み区画の遠位端で深くなることを特徴とする刺通装置。 - 請求項1記載の刺通装置において、
前記螺旋状切込み区画が、前記シャフトのコアを規定し、
前記コアが、前記シャフトの前記遠位端のうちの前記螺旋状切込み区画を有した部分の外径と比較して少なくとも半分という最小直径を有していることを特徴とする刺通装置。 - 請求項1記載の刺通装置において、
前記シャフトの前記遠位端上に配置された放射線不透過先端をさらに備えていることを特徴とする刺通装置。 - 請求項1記載の刺通装置において、
前記シャフトの前記近位端に取り付けられ、前記刺通装置の操作を可能とするように適合されたハブをさらに備えることを特徴とする刺通装置。
