Claims (5)
- IGBTを駆動するための信号を供給するゲートドライバICを備えるIGBT駆動装置であって、
前記IGBTのゲートとエミッタとの間に設けられる外部キャパシタと、
前記ゲートドライバICの出力信号を反転させる信号反転部と、
前記信号反転部の出力信号に基づいて、外部キャパシタに電源を供給するスイッチング部と、を含む、IGBT駆動装置。 - 前記スイッチング部は、前記ゲートドライバICの出力信号がハイのときに前記外部キャパシタをオープンさせ、前記ゲートドライバICの出力信号がローのときに前記外部キャパシタをショートさせる、請求項1に記載のIGBT駆動装置。
- 前記ゲートドライバICの出力信号がハイの場合には、前記IGBTはターンオンし、前記スイッチング部はターンオフし、
前記ゲートドライバICの出力信号がローの場合には、前記IGBTはターンオフし、前記スイッチング部は、前記信号反転部から供給されたハイレベルの出力信号に基づいてターンオンし、前記外部キャパシタは、ターンオンした前記スイッチング部を介して供給された電源で充電される、請求項1または2に記載のIGBT駆動装置。 - 前記信号反転部は、NOTゲートからなる、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のIGBT駆動装置。
- 前記信号反転部は、反転信号を出力するスイッチング素子からなる、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載のIGBT駆動装置。
