(A+B)/X=0.22〜0.30、好ましくは0.286前後、C/X=0.38〜0.43、好ましくは0.429前後、D/X=0.18〜0.22、好ましくは0.214前後、E/X=0.07〜0.15、好ましくは0.071前後とし、かつ、D1 /C=0.24〜0.30、好ましくは0.244前後、D2 /E=1.05〜1.85、好ましくは1.80前後にそれぞれ設定するのが良い。

分岐管がエンジンのシリンダヘッドとサージタンクとを接続し、上記分岐管の通路内断面積がそれぞれ上記シリンダヘッド側から上記サージタンク側へ向かって、次第に増大する第1部分と、上記第1部分に続いて比較的小さい一定の大きさに保たれる第2部分と、上記第2部分に続いて次第に増大する第3部分と、上記第3部分に続いて比較的大きい一定の大きさに保たれる第4部分とを上記分岐管がそなえ、上記各通路内断面積を真円相当の径に置き換えた場合における上記第2部分の内径をD1 、上記第4部分の内径をD2 とし、かつ、上記第2部分の区間長さをC、上記第4部分の区間長さをEとしたとき、D1 /C=0.24〜0.30、D2 /E=1.05〜1.85であって、上記第4部分の端部が上記サージタンクへ接続された吸気マニホルド。 -
