Claims (13)
- 樹脂製の流路構成部材と、前記流路構成部材より高い融点を有し前記流路構成部材に取り付けられてインクを濾過するフィルタプレートとを含むインクジェットヘッドであって、
前記フィルタプレートは、厚さ方向に貫通する複数の孔が形成され環状に区画された環状領域と、厚さ方向に貫通する複数の孔が形成され前記環状領域に包囲された内側領域とを有し、
前記環状領域に形成された前記孔の直径が、前記内側領域に形成された前記孔の直径以下であり、
前記流路構成部材には、前記フィルタプレートの表裏一方の面に対して、前記環状領域に当接し前記内側領域に当接しないフィルタ支持面が形成されており、
前記流路構成部材の前記フィルタ支持面には、前記流路構成部材の一部が溶融することによって前記環状領域に形成された前記孔内に埋め込まれ且つ前記孔を越えた部分において前記孔の径よりも拡径した、拡径突起が形成されており、
前記フィルタプレートが前記拡径突起によって前記フィルタ支持面に固定されていることを特徴とするインクジェットヘッド。 - 前記拡径突起となる前記流路構成部材の一部が、環状の前記フィルタ支持面の全周に亘って形成された突起であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェットヘッド。
- 前記フィルタプレートの前記フィルタ支持面とは反対側の他方の面に、前記フィルタ支持面に形成された複数の前記拡径突起が複数の前記孔を越えた部分において互いに接続されて一体化することにより構成される樹脂層が、前記内側領域を避けて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のインクジェットヘッド。
- 前記樹脂層が前記環状領域の全周に亘って形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のインクジェットヘッド。
- 前記環状領域内には、前記フィルタプレートの外周から離隔し環状形状を有した第1の非貫通区域が設けられており、
前記第1の非貫通区域には、前記内側領域における前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅に亘って前記孔が形成されていないことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のインクジェットヘッド。 - 前記環状領域内には、前記フィルタプレートの外周から連続し環状形状を有した第2の非貫通区域が設けられており、
前記第2の非貫通区域には、前記内側領域における前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅に亘って前記孔が形成されていないことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のインクジェットヘッド。 - 樹脂製の流路構成部材と、前記流路構成部材より高い融点を有し前記流路構成部材に取り付けられてインクを濾過するフィルタプレートとを含むインクジェットヘッドであって、
前記フィルタプレートは、厚さ方向に貫通する複数の孔が形成され環状に区画された環状領域と、厚さ方向に貫通する複数の孔が形成され前記環状領域に包囲された内側領域とを有し、
前記流路構成部材には、前記フィルタプレートの表裏一方の面に対して、前記環状領域に当接し前記内側領域に当接しないフィルタ支持面が形成されており、
前記流路構成部材の前記フィルタ支持面には、前記流路構成部材の一部が溶融することによって前記環状領域に形成された前記孔内に埋め込まれ且つ前記孔を越えた部分において前記孔の径よりも拡径した、拡径突起が形成されており、
前記フィルタプレートが前記拡径突起によって前記フィルタ支持面に固定されており、
前記環状領域内には、前記フィルタプレートの外周から離隔し環状形状を有した第1の非貫通区域、及び、前記フィルタプレートの外周から連続し環状形状を有した第2の非貫通区域が設けられており、
前記第1及び第2の非貫通区域には、前記内側領域における前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅に亘って前記孔が形成されていないことを特徴とするインクジェットヘッド。 - 樹脂製の流路構成部材と、前記流路構成部材より高い融点を有し前記流路構成部材に取り付けられてインクを濾過するフィルタプレートとを含むインクジェットヘッドの製造方法であって、
平面内に環状に延在した環状面と、前記環状面の内周境界に連続し且つ前記平面とは交差する方向に延在した段差面とを有しており、且つ、前記環状面にその全周に亘る突起が形成された前記流路構成部材を作製する流路構成部材作製工程と、
厚さ方向に貫通する複数の孔が形成された前記フィルタプレートを作製するフィルタプレート作製工程と、
少なくとも1つの前記孔が前記環状面と対向するように、前記フィルタプレートの一方面を前記環状面と当接させる当接工程と、
前記突起が溶融して前記孔内に埋め込まれ且つ溶融した突起が前記孔を越えた部分において前記孔の径よりも拡径するように、前記突起を加熱しつつ前記フィルタプレートを前記環状面に押圧する加熱押圧工程とを備え、
前記フィルタプレート作製工程において、前記流路構成部材の前記環状面に当接される環状領域に、前記環状領域に包囲され前記環状面に当接されない内側領域に形成されるのと同じ又はそれよりも小さい直径の前記孔を形成することを特徴とするインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記加熱押圧工程において、前記突起が溶融して2以上の前記孔内に埋め込まれ且つ溶融した突起が前記孔を越えた部分において前記孔の径よりも拡径し互いに接続されて一体化することによって、前記フィルタプレートの他方の面に沿った樹脂層が形成されるように、前記突起を加熱しつつ前記フィルタプレートを前記環状面に押圧することを特徴とする請求項8に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記フィルタプレート作製工程において、前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅にわたって前記孔が形成されておらず且つ前記フィルタプレートの外周から離隔した環状の第1の非貫通区域を有する前記フィルタプレートを作製し、
前記当接工程において、前記環状面の内周境界が前記第1の非貫通区域と対向するように、前記フィルタプレートの一方面を前記環状面と当接させることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記フィルタプレート作製工程において、前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅にわたって前記孔が形成されておらず且つ前記フィルタプレートの外周から連続した環状の第2の非貫通区域を有する前記フィルタプレートを作製することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
- 前記流路構成部材作製工程において、前記突起の先端を先細り形状に形成することを特徴とする請求項8〜11のいずれか1項に記載のインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
- 樹脂製の流路構成部材と、前記流路構成部材より高い融点を有し前記流路構成部材に取り付けられてインクを濾過するフィルタプレートとを含むインクジェットヘッドの製造方法であって、
平面内に環状に延在した環状面と、前記環状面の内周境界に連続し且つ前記平面とは交差する方向に延在した段差面とを有しており、且つ、前記環状面にその全周に亘る突起が形成された前記流路構成部材を作製する流路構成部材作製工程と、
厚さ方向に貫通する複数の孔が形成された前記フィルタプレートを作製するフィルタプレート作製工程と、
少なくとも1つの前記孔が前記環状面と対向するように、前記フィルタプレートの一方面を前記環状面と当接させる当接工程と、
前記突起が溶融して前記孔内に埋め込まれ且つ溶融した突起が前記孔を越えた部分において前記孔の径よりも拡径するように、前記突起を加熱しつつ前記フィルタプレートを前記環状面に押圧する加熱押圧工程とを備え、
前記フィルタプレート作製工程において、前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅にわたって前記孔が形成されておらず且つ前記フィルタプレートの外周から離隔した環状の第1の非貫通区域、及び、前記孔のピッチよりも広い幅にわたって前記孔が形成されておらず且つ前記フィルタプレートの外周から連続した環状の第2の非貫通区域を有する前記フィルタプレートを作製し、
前記当接工程において、前記環状面の内周境界が前記第1の非貫通区域と対向するように、前記フィルタプレートの一方面を前記環状面と当接させることを特徴とするインクジェットヘッドの製造方法。
