Description
本出願は、2004年10月28日に出願された米国仮出願第60/622,927号に優先権を主張するものであり、この出願は引用によりここに組み込まれるものとする。
1.第一の被覆されたプラスチック部材を、第一の部材上にプライマーを存在させることなく、第二の部材に接着剤で接着させることを含んでなる(この接着により、第一の部材と第二の部材との間の接着が形成される)、第一の被覆されたプラスチック部材を第二の部材に接合させる方法。
2.接着剤が実質的に無溶媒である態様1に記載の方法。
3.接着剤がシリル末端ポリエーテルである態様2に記載の方法。
4.接着剤がポリウレタン接着剤を含む態様3に記載の方法。
5.接着剤が珪素を含む態様4に記載の方法。
6.接着剤がシロキサンと混合されたポリウレタン、シリル末端ポリウレタン、ポリウレタン主鎖にグラフトしたシロキサン又はそれらの組合せから選ばれる態様5に記載の方法。
7.第一の基材が被覆されたポリカーボネートを含む態様6に記載の方法。
8.接着剤が湿分硬化される態様7に記載の方法。
9.第二の基材が表面処理を更に含む態様8に記載の方法。
10.表面処理がプライマーを含む態様9に記載の方法。
11.ポリカーボネート基材が少なくとも部分的に透明又は半透明である態様10に記載の方法。
12.接着が少なくとも約400psiの重ね剪断強度を含む態様11に記載の方法。
13.少なくとも部分的には透明又は半透明である被覆されたポリカーボネート基材を、その基材上にプライマーを存在させることなく、実質的に無溶媒のポリウレタン接着剤で枠材に結合し、;そして湿分硬化される前記接着剤を硬化させ、且つ硬化した接着剤がポリカーボネート基材と枠材との間の接着を形成することを含んでなる、ポリカーボネート基材を枠材に接合する方法。
14.ポリウレタン接着剤が珪素を含む態様14に記載の方法。
15.硬化した接着が少なくとも約400psiの重ね剪断強度を含む態様15に記載の方法。
16.硬化した接着が、15日又はそれ以上の屋外耐候条件経過後、少なくとも約400psiの重ね剪断強度を含む態様15に記載の方法。
17.枠材が乗物の窓枠を含む態様16に記載の方法。
18.a.硬質被膜を有する、少なくとも部分的に透明又は半透明であるポリカーボネート基材;
b.枠材;及び
c.湿分硬化した、実質的に無溶媒のポリウレタン接着剤;
を含んでなり、基材上にプライマーを存在させることなく、基材が接着剤を用いて、枠材に接着されている製品。
19.接着剤が珪素を含む態様18に記載の製品。
20.硬化した接着が400psiの重ね剪断強度を含む態様19に記載の製品。
21.ポリカーボネートが乗物の窓であることを更に含み、且つその枠材が乗物の窓枠を更に含む態様20に記載の製品。
22.接着剤が、ポリウレタン主鎖にグラフトしたシロキサン、シリル基末端のポリウレタン主鎖、ポリウレタンとシロキサンとの混合物又はそれらの組合せを含む態様21に記載の製品。
Claims (9)
- 少なくとも部分的に透明又は半透明であり、硬質被覆又は耐引掻性被覆で被覆されたポリカーボネート基材を、そのポリカーボネート基材上にプライマーを存在させることなく、実質的に無溶媒の、ポリウレタン主鎖にグラフトしたシロキサンを含むポリウレタン接着剤で乗物の窓枠材に結合し、;そして湿分硬化される前記接着剤を硬化させ、且つ硬化した接着剤がポリカーボネート基材と乗物の窓枠材との間の接着を形成することを含んでなる、ポリカーボネート基材を乗物の窓枠材に接合する方法であって、前記ポリウレタン接着剤に1重量%より少ない溶媒しか存在しない実質的に溶媒の不存在下で行なうポリカーボネート基材を乗物の窓枠材に接合する方法。
- 前記乗物の窓枠材が金属を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記窓枠材が表面処理を含む請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記表面処理がプライマーを含む請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記接着剤が熱安定剤を更に含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリウレタン主鎖がアミノシランでグラフトされている請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- a.硬質被膜を有する、少なくとも部分的に透明又は半透明であり、乗物の窓として使用するのに適したポリカーボネート基材;
b.乗物の窓枠材;及び
c.湿分硬化した、接着剤の重量に対し5重量%未満の溶媒を含む、ポリウレタン主鎖にグラフトしたシロキサンを含むポリウレタン接着剤;
を含んでなり、硬質被覆されたポリカーボネート基材上にプライマーを存在させることなく、基材が接着剤を用いて、前記乗物の窓の枠材に接着されている製品。 - 前記ポリウレタン主鎖がアミノシランでグラフトされている請求項7に記載の製品。
- 前記接着剤が熱安定剤を更に含む請求項7又は8に記載の製品。
