Description
本発明は、機械工学および製造の分野に属し、特に自動車工学、航空機の製造、船の製造、機械の製造、玩具の製造などの機械製造に関する。
自動車、航空および他の産業において、鋼製構造から脱却し、その代わりに、例えばアルミニウムまたはマグネシウム金属シート、ダイカスト部品または炭素繊維強化ポリマなどの軽量素材を使用する傾向がある。
本発明は、(機械的な)コネクタを貫通孔である第1孔を有する対象物に接合することを目的とする。当該方法は、従来技術の方法の欠点を克服する。
− コアは、外表面において、特に遠近軸と本質的に平行する表面において、少なくとも1つのロッキング部、例えば、孔、凹み、突起、波形、ネジまたは類似物を有することができる。このようなロッキング部は、最初から(すなわち、コネクタを準備する時に)熱可塑性材料に包埋されてもよく、または工程中に流動可能になる熱可塑性材料がロッキング部に浸透することにより、熱可塑性材料に包埋されてもよい。相互浸透のロッキング部は、コネクタ内のコアを安定させる。
− 熱可塑性材料それ自体は、繊維により強化される。
熱可塑性材料は、自動車および航空業界において周知である。本発明に係わる方法に、特にこれらの業界の用途に知られている熱可塑性材料を使用することができる。
本明細書において、「近位」および「遠位」とう用語は、方向および位置を参照するために使用され、換言すれば、「近位」は、操作者または機械が機械振動を適用するコネクタの一方側であり、「遠位」は、その反対側である。本明細書において、近位側のコネクタの広がり部は、「頭部」と呼ばれ、遠位側の広がり部は、「足部」と呼ばれる。予め形成された頭部を備えるまたは備えないコネクタを近位側から整列した孔に挿入する場合、その遠位端は、文献においてしばしば「テール端」と呼ばれる。
図1aは、本発明の実施形態の基本的な構成を示している。第1対象物1は、例えば、金属または強化繊維複合材料から作られた板またはシートである。第1対象物は、板平面に垂直な貫通孔である第1孔11を有する。
これらの3つの特徴は、すべて互いに独立しており、個別にまたは任意の組み合わせで実現することができる。例えば、第2盲孔を有する実施形態において、分離層は、選択的なものであって、省略可能である。これに対し、前の図面に示された種類の分離層を貫通孔である第2孔を備える実施形態にも設けることが可能である。また、分離層を有しない図3aおよび3bの構成において、案内部または指向部をソノトロードの表面および/またはモールと部71に追加することも可能である。
図8aおよび8bを参照して、(例えば、本体と直接接触する)ソノトロードを用いて、振動によって予備加熱するまたは加熱しないまま、本体を変形させる構想は、振動を両側に適用するソノトロードを含む種類の実施形態を参照して説明したが、これに限定されない。むしろ、この構想は、他方側に設けられたカウンタ要素と組み合わせて、単一のソノトロードを使用する実施形態にも適用することができる。この場合、カウンタ要素は、単にコネクタを押圧してもよく、それ自体が本体を局所的に変形させてもよい。

- コネクタ(3)を第1対象物(1)および第2対象物(2)に接合する方法であって、

前記振動源を除去し、液化した前記熱可塑性材料を再固化させるステップとを備え、
前記除去するステップの後、前記コネクタは、足部(41)と、頭部(31)と、前記足部と前記頭部との間の軸部(32)とを含み、前記軸部は、軸線に沿って前記第1孔を通って延在することによって、前記コネクタを前記第1対象物に固定し、
前記流動部分は、前記足部の少なくとも一部、または前記頭部の少なくとも一部、または前記足部および前記頭部の両方の少なくとも一部を形成し、
前記振動および前記圧力を適用するステップが、前記コネクタ(3)の近位カップリングイン面を介して前記振動をカップリングし、前記コネクタを介して前記振動を前記コネクタの遠位端面に伝達するステップを含み、
前記振動および機械圧力を適用するステップにおいて、前記コネクタは、流動ゾーン(47)と非流動ゾーン(48,5)とを含み、前記流動ゾーンは、熱可塑性材料からなり、液化し、前記非流動ゾーンは、液化せず、
前記非流動ゾーンは、前記熱可塑性材料とは異なる材料から作られた本体(5)を含み、
前記配置ステップの後且つ前記振動源を除去するステップの前に、前記本体の一部を変形させる追加的ステップを含む、方法。 - 前記変形ステップは、横方向に沿って、前記本体(5)を径方向の少なくとも一方側に広げるステップを含み、
前記変形ステップは、ソノトロード(6)を用いて機械圧力を適用することによって行われ、
前記振動を適用するステップにおいて、前記ソノトロードは、使用され、前記振動の少なくとも一部を適用する、請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記変形ステップは、前記本体の遠位部を変形することによって、前記本体の軸部に対して遠位であり、前記コネクタの前記足部の一部である遠位広がり部を形成するステップを含む、請求項5または6に記載の方法。
- 前記非流動ゾーンは、前記第1孔の近傍に位置し、前記第2対象物(2)に面する前記第1対象物(1)の一面によって規定される平面と、前記第2孔の近傍に位置し、前記第1対象物(1)に面する前記第2対象物(2)の一面によって規定される平面との両方を横断する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記適用および押圧ステップは、前記流動部分の材料が前記第1孔の周壁、または必要な場合、前記第2孔の周壁または少なくとも全周に沿って前記第1孔および前記第2孔の両方を被覆するまで行われる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- コネクタ(3)を第1対象物(1)および第2対象物(2)に接合する方法であって、
第1孔(11)を有する前記第1対象物(1)を提供するステップを備え、前記第1孔は、貫通孔であり、
前記コネクタ(3)を提供するステップを備え、前記コネクタは、前記第1対象物と別体であり、前記コネクタは、熱可塑性材料を含み、
第2孔(12)を有する第2対象物(2)を提供するステップを備え、前記第2対象物は、前記コネクタと別体であり、前記第2孔は、貫通孔であり、
前記第1孔(11)および前記第2孔(12)が整列され且つ前記コネクタが近位側から前記第1孔を通って、遠位方向に沿って前記第2孔に進入するように、前記第1対象物、前記第2対象物および前記コネクタを互いに対して配置するステップと、
機械振動源を用いて振動を生成し、機械振動および機械圧力を前記コネクタに適用し、前記振動および前記圧力によって前記熱可塑性材料の流動部分を液化させ、径方向に沿って開放空間に向かって流動させるステップとを備え、前記開放空間は、前記第2対象物の遠位端に位置しおよび/または前記第2孔のアンダーカットを規定する広がり部(92)を含み、
前記振動源を除去し、液化した前記熱可塑性材料を再固化させるステップとを備え、
前記除去するステップの後、前記コネクタは、足部(41)と、頭部(31)と、前記足部と前記頭部との間の軸部(32)とを含み、前記軸部は、軸線に沿って前記第1孔を通って延在することによって、前記コネクタを前記第1対象物に固定し、

前記ソノトロードは、遠位カップリングアウト面を含み、
前記振動を適用するステップにおいて、前記カップリングアウト面は、前記コネクタ(3)の近位端面にカップリングされ、
前記ソノトロードは、前記コネクタの遠位端面に設けられた対応形状を有する凹みと協働する遠位案内突起を備える、方法。 - 当接面(72)が前記第2対象物の遠位面に押し付けられるときに、凹部を形成するモールド部(71)を備えるカウンタ要素(7)を形成するステップを備え、
前記振動および機械圧力を適用するを前記コネクタに適用するステップにおいて、前記カウンタ要素は、機械的な押圧力に対抗する反力を前記コネクタに適用する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 貫通孔を有する対象物に接合されるためのコネクタ(3)であって、
前記コネクタは、熱可塑性材料と、液化しないまたは前記熱可塑性材料よりも大幅に高い温度で液化する材料から作られた本体(5)とを含み、
前記コネクタは、長手軸線に沿って、頭部の端部と足部の端部との間に延在し、
前記本体は、頭部の端部および/または足部の端部の一部であり、前記コネクタの端面に作用する押圧力および機械振動によって前記軸に対して外側に曲がることにより変形可能な可変形部(53)を含み、
前記熱可塑性材料は、前記押圧力および前記機械振動によって変形され、少なくとも部分的に前記可変形部(53)を囲むように配置される、コネクタ。
