Description
このとき、アイドルストップ車両が、アイドルストップ条件が成立したものと判断してしまい、エンジンを自動停止してしまうおそれがある。これにより、車両が運転者の意図に反して移動するおそれがある。
これにより、路面勾配検出部の検出情報に基づいて路面の勾配を誤判定した場合に、勾配した路面において車両が移動することを防止できる。
モータジェネレータ4は、ディファレンシャル機構27に対して、チェーン等の動力伝達機構28を介して連結されている。モータジェネレータ4は、電動機として機能する。
以下、第1の所定時間を故障状態確定時間と呼ぶこともあり、第2の所定時間を路面勾配の自動停止条件成立確定時間と呼ぶこともある。
エンジン自動停止部61は、路面勾配センサ54の異常が第1の所定時間T1の間継続したら、路面勾配センサ54が故障しているものと判断し、エンジン2の自動停止を禁止する。エンジン自動停止部61は、路面勾配センサ54が正常であるものと判断したら、第2の所定時間T2が経過した時機t2に路面勾配の自動停止条件成立を確定する。
図4から図6は、エンジン2の自動停止処理プログラムのフローチャートであり、この自動停止処理プログラムは、ECM11のROMに記憶され、ECM11によって所定の時間間隔で繰り返し実行される。
ここで、路面勾配センサ54が、例えば、平坦路を示すような出力値に固着されている場合には、勾配を有する路面であるにもかかわらず、平坦路であると誤検出してしまう。
Claims (2)
- 車両が走行する路面の勾配を検出する路面勾配検出部と、
前記路面勾配検出部によって検出された路面勾配情報に基づいて設定される路面勾配の自動停止条件を含んだ所定の自動停止条件が成立したら、エンジンを自動停止させるエンジン自動停止部と、を備えたエンジンの自動停止装置であって、
前記路面勾配検出部から入力される路面勾配情報に基づき、前記路面勾配検出部の異常が第1の所定時間継続されたら、前記路面勾配検出部が故障であると判定する故障判定部を備え、
前記エンジン自動停止部は、前記所定の自動停止条件のうち、前記路面勾配の自動停止条件が前記第1の所定時間よりも長い第2の所定時間の間成立したら、前記エンジンの自動停止を許可するよう構成され、
前記第1の所定時間及び前記第2の所定時間の開始時機が同じであることを特徴とするエンジンの自動停止装置。 - 前記エンジン自動停止部は、前記故障判定部によって前記路面勾配検出部が故障であると判定されたら、前記エンジンの自動停止を禁止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの自動停止装置。
