The intermediate member 3 gives an accent to the surface of the door trim, giving it a soft feel.

A cloth sheet 5 such as cloth is coated on the surface of the metal plate 4 as a base member, and the peripheral end 5a is attached to the plate 4.
It was folded back and fixed on the back side. After that, the locking claws 6 cut and raised appropriately on the back side of the metal plate 4 are inserted into the mounting holes 2a of the resin core material 2, and then bent and fixed to attach the living member 3.
A common fixing method was to attach it to the surface side of the resin core material 2.

Installation work is very troublesome and requires a lot of man-hours,
Productivity is extremely poor, and the weight of the metal plate increases the total weight of the product, which goes against the weight reduction of vehicles. There were various problems such as a gap being formed between the core material 2 and the living member 3, a sense of unity between the core material 2 and the living member 3 could not be obtained, and the appearance design was inferior.

In this method, a molten resin is injection molded into the cavity to form a resin core material into a desired shape within the cavity, and at the same time, the resin core material and the fabric sheet are integrated.

点を解決するのが急務とされていた。In this construction method, the biggest problem is to securely position and fix the fabric sheet in a predetermined position. As this fixing means, for example, a method of planting a plurality of needles on the mold surface of the movable side template and fixing the fabric sheet with the needles, or a method of connecting to a vacuum suction device and applying vacuum suction force to the mold of the movable side template. Methods of sabotaging the surface have been proposed, but due to the large amount of resin pressure during injection molding, these methods tend to cause misalignment of the fabric sheet, causing wrinkles etc. on the surface of the fabric sheet.
In addition, there were appearance defects such as meandering of peripheral terminals, and there was an urgent need to solve this problem.

A resin core material is molded into the desired shape by injection molding molten resin inside, and the resin core material and the living member are integrated, and the circumferential groove for accommodating the peripheral end of the living member is inserted into the core. In an automobile interior part formed by recessing the material surface side, the peripheral edge end of the living member is formed along the protrusion provided on the mold surface of the movable mold plate to form the circumferential groove of the core material. The present invention is characterized in that, after the peripheral end of the living member is clamped and held by a clip rail having a substantially U-shaped cross section, the clip rail is embedded and fixed within a resin core material.

By doing this, the peripheral end of the living member is securely and firmly held and fixed, so that the living member does not shift in position due to the resin pressure of the molten resin during injection molding, and the surface of the living member is fixed. Since no wrinkles or the like occur on the surface, it is possible to prevent defects in the appearance of the product as much as possible.
