スは、インテークマニホールドに吸引される。(Prior Art) Various devices for separating lubricating oil from blow-by gas have been proposed in the past. For example, in the technology disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 56-149013, a gas-liquid separation case is provided in the cylinder head cover, and a baffle plate protrudes into the case to form a zigzag passage, which contains oil. When the blow-by gas flows through this zigzag passage, the oil component contained in the gas is removed by rapidly changing the flow direction. In other words, the gas part can change the flow direction smoothly,
Since it is difficult for oil particles with a certain mass or more to change direction rapidly, they collide with and adhere to the wall of the zigzag passage, and as the number of adhered oil particles increases, they fall under their own weight as oil pressure or hot water droplets. The blow-by gas from which the oil component has been removed in this way is sucked into the intake manifold.

It was difficult. As a result, the lubricating oil flows into the intake manifold without being sufficiently separated, resulting in a problem in that the amount of lubricating oil consumed increases and various sensors attached to the manifold are contaminated by the oil.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The technical means taken to solve the above technical problems is to install a blow-by blower in the cylinder head cover that covers the upper space of the cylinder head where the valve mechanism of the internal combustion engine is disposed. A baffle member is fixed to the bottom open part for separating gas into liquid and gas, and a gas-liquid separation chamber is formed inside the case, and a coarse foamed metal porous filter is installed on the blow-by gas inflow side of the gas-liquid separation chamber. Fine-mesh foam metal porous filters are arranged vertically in series along the flow of the blow-by gas on the outflow side of the blow-by gas, and the oil A reservoir is formed, and the oil reservoir is communicated with the upper space of the cylinder head through an umbrella-shaped check valve attached to the bottom of the oil reservoir, and the oil reservoir is connected to the downstream side of the porous filter in the gas separation chamber. The space and the space above the cylinder head are isolated by a seal member, and a blow-by gas outlet port is provided above the space on the downstream side of the porous filter.

In other words, when blow-by gas containing oil particles flows into a gas-liquid separation case provided on the cylinder head cover, the blow-by gas collides with the baffle member and the flow velocity is changed, and the oil particles with larger mass are separated first. Ru. The blow-by gas containing oil particles that remained unseparated by the baffle member flows into the gas-liquid separation chamber, and first collides with the coarse-mesh porous filter, where its flow velocity is significantly reduced, and the relatively mass contained Large oil particles form into oil droplets that adhere to the filter and are separated. Furthermore, the blow-by gas containing fine oil particles that remain unseparated collides with a fine-mesh porous filter, and oil particles with small mass adhere to the filter and are separated, resulting in blow-by gas from which oil components have been removed. Gas flows out to the exit port. The oil components absorbed by both porous filters gather at the bottom of the filters due to their own weight, travel through the seal member, and are temporarily collected in an oil reservoir located at a low position. When the oil in the oil reservoir exceeds a certain level,
Due to its own weight, the check valve opens and the fluid flows back into the clutch case.

The cylinder head cover 13 has an open bottom case 21 which is integrally formed with the cylinder head cover 13 and performs gas-liquid separation of blow-by gas. Lower opening 21 of the case 21
A baffle member 22 is fixed to a, and a gas-liquid separation chamber 23 is formed inside the baffle member 22. When the blow-by gas inside the cylinder head cover 13 flows into the gas-liquid separation chamber 23 as shown by the arrow l in the figure, the oil components scattered in the form of oil beads inside the cylinder head cover 13 are temporarily removed by the buff-full member 22. Two foam metal porous filters are vertically arranged in series along the flow of blow-by gas. That is, the coarse porous filter 25 is disposed on the blow-by gas inlet side, and the fine porous filter 26 is disposed on the blow-by gas outlet side. An oil reservoir 27 is formed at the lower end of both porous filters 25 and 26 at a position lower than the filters, and the oil reservoir 27 communicates with the upper space 12 of the cylinder head 11, that is, into the crankcase, via the umbrella-shaped check valve 8. do. That is, the oil absorbed by the porous filters 25 and 26 is temporarily stored in the oil reservoir 27 via the oil passage 34, and when the oil reaches a predetermined amount, the umbrella-shaped check valve 28 is opened by the weight of the oil. , passages 31, 3 passing through the member 29 holding the valve 28.
2, the oil in the oil reservoir 27 flows back into the crankcase. Note that the seal member 30 is

The contained oil becomes oily and adheres to the filter 25. The atomized oil particles having a relatively small mass that have passed through the filter 25 are absorbed by a fine-mesh porous filter 26. Both porous filters 25 and 26 effectively separate the oil component contained in the blow-by gas. Further, since both filters 25 and 26 are arranged vertically, oil droplets adhering to the filters 25 and 26 tend to fall off due to their own weight. In other words, filter 2
The oil collected at 5 and 26 moves downward under its own weight, passes through the seal member 30, and is collected and temporarily stored in an oil reservoir 27 located at a low position. By removing oil and securing air passages in the upper portions of the filters 25 and 26, the blow-by gas from which oil has been removed passes through the ventilation passages to the outlet port as shown by arrow m in the figure. It leaks on the 24th.

When using a foamed metal porous filter as an oil separation means, a filter with as fine mesh as possible is effective in separating oil components contained in blow-by gas. However, when a fine-mesh filter is installed, clogging is likely to occur. According to the present invention, by arranging the coarse-mesh filter upstream of the fine-mesh filter, it is more effective in protecting the fine-mesh filter from clogging. By disposing such a fine-mesh porous filter, there is an effect that fine foreign matter contained in the blow-by gas can also be absorbed.
