【発明の詳现な説明】 〔発明の技術分野〕 本発明はプラスチツクスリヌブの補造方法およ
び装眮に係り、特に円柱状のマンドレルの倖呚面
にプラスチツクフむルムのブランクを巻き぀け、
その重ね合せ郚をヒヌトシヌル溶接するこずによ
぀おプラスチツクスリヌブを補造し、このスリヌ
ブをマンドレルから抜き取りやすくしたプラスチ
ツクスリヌブの補造方法および装眮に関する。
〔発明の技術的背景ずその問題点〕
近時、ガラスびんの衚面にはあらかじめ装食暡
様を備えたプラスチツクフむルムのスリヌブが被
せられ、このスリヌブを被せたガラスびんを加熱
炉内に導いおフむルムを熱収瞮させるこずによ
り、ガラスびんの衚面にフむルムを密着させおい
る。䞊蚘プラスチツクフむルムのスリヌブの補造
に際しおは、円柱状のマンドレルの倖呚に端郚ど
うしが重なるようにしおプラスチツクフむルムの
ブランクを巻き぀け、この重ね合せ郚をヒヌトシ
ヌル溶接するこずによ぀おスリヌブが成圢され、
このようにしお成圢されたプラスチツクフむルム

せるこずによ぀お抜き取られ、ガラスびんに嵌合
され、熱収瞮工皋を経おガラスびんの衚面に密着
されるわけである。
しかしながら、埓来のマンドレルを䜿甚した堎
合、プラスチツクスリヌブをマンドレルから取り
倖しおガラスびんに装着させる際に、プラスチツ
クスリヌブがマンドレルから容易に倖れないこず
がしばしばあ぀た。この原因には皮々考えられる
が、プラスチツクスリヌブずマンドレルずの間の
隙間が小さくマンドレルから倖すずきの摩擊力が
倧きいこずおよびヒヌトシヌル溶接時にプラスチ
ツクスリヌブの重ね合せ郚が溶融しおマンドレル
の倖呚面に付着するこずが考えられる。
〔発明の目的〕
そこで、本発明の目的は、マンドレルの䞊で重
ね合せ郚をヒヌトシヌル溶接するこずによ぀お成
圢されたプラスチツクスリヌブをマンドレルから
容易に取り倖せるようにしたプラスチツクスリヌ
ブの補造方法および装眮を提䟛するこずにある。
〔発明の抂芁〕
しかしお、本発明によれば、䞊蚘目的はロヌル
に巻回されたプラスチツクのり゚ブを所定の長さ
に切断しおブランクを圢成し、このブランクを端
郚ず端郚ずが重なり合うようにしお呚面䞊に軞線
方向の抌え溝を備えたマンドレルの倖呚面にブラ
ンクを巻き付け、䞊蚘ブランクを真空吞匕䜜甚を
利甚しおマンドレルの党呚面䞊に吞着保持したう
えで、䞊蚘ブランクの重ね合せ郚にり゚ルダシヌ
ムバヌを抌し付けお熱溶着するこずによりプラス
チツクスリヌブを圢成し、しかるのち、䞊蚘マン
ドレルの真空吞匕䜜甚を解陀し、保持板を䜿぀お
プラスチツクフむルムをマンドレルの呚面に抌し
付けるず同時に抌蟌みバヌを䞊蚘抌え溝内に抌し
蟌み、プラスチツクスリヌブの重合郚ずマンドレ
ルずの間に融着郚を匕き剥がしたのち、マンドレ
ル䞊のプラスチツクスリヌブをマンドレルに沿぀
お抌し䞊げるこずによ぀お達成される。
たた、本発明によれば、䞊蚘目的は、真空源に
連通可胜な内郚チダンバを備えたマンドレル本䜓
の倖呚面の䞀郚に軞線方向に沿぀お䞀条の抌え溝
を圢成し、この抌え溝の倖偎に溝底に向぀お進退
可胜な抌蟌みバヌを蚭け、さらに䞊蚘抌え溝の肩
のうちヒヌトシヌル板から遠い偎の肩を抌圧可胜
な保持板を蚭けるこずによ぀お達成される。
〔発明の実斜䟋〕
以䞋本発明によるプラスチツクスリヌブの補造
方法および装眮の実斜䟋を図面を参照しお説明す
る。
第図においお、笊号は印刷したり゚ブの玠
材を瀺し、このり゚ブの玠材はポリスチレンや
ポリ゚チレン等の熱可塑性フむルムであ぀おり゚
ブロヌルに巻回されおいる。このり゚ブの玠材
は、第のり゚ブガむドを通぀おガむド
に到り、第のり゚ブガむドの倖偎を経おフむ
ヌドロヌルに䟛絊される。このフむヌドロヌル
から送り出されたり゚ブの玠材は第のり゚
ブガむドを通぀お真空吞匕䜜甚をも぀トランス
フアドラムの呚面に䟛絊される。䞊蚘り゚ブの
玠材は、トランスフアドラム䞊の真空吞匕䜜
甚によりドラムの倖呚面に䞀時的に吞着されたた
た送り出され、途䞭でり゚ブのセクシペンが回
転されるナむフによ぀お切断されおブランク
ずされる。この回転ナむフはトランスフアド
ラムの回転ず同調しおいるこずはもちろんであ
る。しかしお、䞊蚘ブランクの導入端は、円
呚䞊に倚数配蚭されたマンドレル 
の぀に近接したある䞀点でトランスフアド
ラムから送られる空気の吹き出しによりマンド
レル䞊に移される。このブランクは真空
吞匕䜜甚を受けお回転するマンドレルの呚面
に匵り぀き、マンドレルが回転するに぀れ
お、ブランクはマンドレルの呚䞊に円筒圢に
巻き付けられおスリヌブを圢成し、このずき
ブランクの端郚ず端郚ずは互いに重ね合せら
れ重ね合せ郚が圢成される。マンドレルの自
転はブランクの重ね合せ郚が内偎を向いた䜍
眮で停止され、以埌はタヌレツトの回転に䌎぀お
公転する。そしお、マンドレルが所定のステ
ヌシペン䜍眮に来たずころでり゚ルダシヌムバヌ
が䞊蚘重ね合せ郚に抌し付けられ圓該重ね合
せ郚を接合する。そしお、り゚ルダシヌムバヌ
が埌退したのちマンドレルの真空吞匕䜜甚
は解陀される。
さらにタヌレツトが回転を続けおいるうちにり
゚ルダシヌムバヌは匕蟌み、マンドレル
が回転しながらプラスチツクスリヌブがスト
ツパリングを䜿぀お持ち䞊げられガラスびん
に底郚より被せられる。ずころが、プラスチ
ツクスリヌブは、ヒヌトシヌルバヌによるヒ
ヌトシヌル溶接時にプラスチツクフむルムが溶融
しおマンドレルの呚面に付着しおいるこずが
時々あ぀おプラスチツクスリヌブをマンドレ
ルから抜き取る䞊で障害ずな぀おいた。そこ
で、本発明においおは、マンドレルそれ自䜓
に抌え溝を圢成しおおき、この抌え溝に向぀お成
圢されたプラスチツクスリヌブの䞀郚を抌し
蟌むこずによ぀おプラスチツクスリヌブの溶
融着郚を匕き剥がすようにしたものである。
次にマンドレルの構成を第図および第
図を参照しお説明する。第図においお、笊号
は䞭空円筒状のマンドレル本䜓を瀺し、このマ
ンドレル本䜓は、アルミニりム合金で補造さ
れ、その倖呚面の䞀郚には、その軞線方向に沿぀
お凹型溝が圢成されおいる。この凹型溝
は暪断面の茪郭が円匧の䞀郚ずなるような盎溝ず
しお構成され、この凹型溝ずマンドレル本䜓
の円筒面ずの境界には䞞味が付けられおい
る。しかしお、䞊蚘マンドレル本䜓の内偎に
は、内郚チダンバが圢成され、この内郚チダ
ンバの図における䞋端は閉塞され、䞀方、図
における䞊端には図瀺を省略したアダプタが装着
され、このアダプタは、図瀺を省略した真空源お
よび圧瞮空気䟛絊源ず導管を介しお接続されおい
る。
䞀方、䞊蚘凹型溝には内郚チダンバず
連通した倚数の吞匕開口 が穿
蚭され、䞊蚘内郚チダンバが真空源ず連通し
たずきはマンドレル䞊のプラスチツクフむルムの
ブランクを吞匕し、䞀方、圧瞮空気䟛絊源ず連通
したずきはプラスチツクスリヌブを脹らたせ
るようにな぀おいる。
さらに、䞊蚘マンドレル本䜓の倖呚面䞊で
あ぀お、䞊蚘凹型溝から円呚方向に離れた䜍
眮には軞線方向に沿぀おヒヌトシヌル板が埋
蚭され、このヒヌトシヌル板は断熱材料、䟋
えばテフロン暹脂で構成するこずが望たしい。こ
のヒヌトシヌル板の前埌には倚数の開口
が列にわた぀お蚭けられおいる。
しかしお、本発明によれば、䞊蚘ヒヌトシヌル
板から円呚方向に離れたマンドレル本䜓
の倖呚面䞊には軞線方向の抌え溝が圢成され
おいる。この抌え溝は図瀺の劂く暪断面が矩
圢状であ぀おも良いし他の圢状であ぀おも良い。
䞊蚘抌え溝の倖偎には、溝に向぀お出入可
胜な抌蟌みバヌが配眮され、この抌蟌みバヌ
はプラスチツクフむルムを損傷しないプラス
チツク材料、䟋えばナむロン暹脂で構成され、適
圓な手段で抌え溝に向぀お進退移動できるよ
うに構成されおいる。たた、䞊蚘抌え溝の肩
のうち、ヒヌトシヌル板から遠い偎の肩の円
呚面の倖方には、保持板が配眮され、この保
持板の先端にはゎムパツドが貌着されお
いる。これらの抌蟌みバヌおよび保持板
は公知の適圓な手段によ぀お半埄方向内ぞ向぀お
動かすこずができるようにな぀おいる。
次にこのように構成されたマンドレルを䜿甚す
る方法を第図および第図を参照しお説明す
る。
たず、プラスチツクフむルムのブランクを
マンドレル本䜓の呚囲に第図に瀺すように
巻き付ける。この際、ブランクの端ず端ずが
ヒヌトシヌル板の盎䞊で重ね合せられお重合
郚ずされ、この状態で内郚チダンバを
真空源ず接続し、䞊蚘吞匕開口
を真空源に連通させる。するず、ブラン
クはマンドレル本䜓の倖呚面に吞着さ
れ、特にマンドレル本䜓の凹型溝䞊のブ
ランクは凹型溝に沿぀お密着し、その重
合郚はヒヌトシヌル板の盎䞊に重ね合
せられる。このような状態から重合郚に向
けおり゚ルダシヌムバヌを抌し付けお重合郚
を接合する。次いで内郚チダンバず真
空源ずの連通を解いお、今床は内郚チダンバ
を圧瞮空気源に連通させる。するず、内郚チダン
バの負圧は解消し、倧気圧以䞊の圧力ずな぀
お吞匕開口より倖郚に吹き出され、マ
ンドレル本䜓の呚りのプラスチツクスリヌブ
を第図に瀺すように脹らたせ、マンドレル
本䜓の盎埄よりも若干倧きくし、䞡者の間に
若干の隙間を圢成する。このずき、プラスチツク
スリヌブの重合郚がヒヌトシヌル板に付
着しおいるこずが時々ある。
そこで、第図に瀺したように、保持板を
マンドレル本䜓に向぀お抌し進め、ゎムパツ
ドでプラスチツクスリヌブをマンドレル
本䜓䞊に固定保持する。次いで抌蟌みバヌ
を抌え溝に向぀お抌し進め、抌蟌みバヌ
の先端でプラスチツクスリヌブの䞀郚を抌
え溝内に抌し蟌む。このずき、プラスチツク
スリヌブはマンドレル本䜓の倖呚面䞊を
偎方ぞ匕匵られ、ヒヌトシヌル板䞊の重合郚
は偎方ぞずらされるずきに融着郚が匕き剥
がされる。したが぀お、この状態からストツパリ
ングを䜜動させればプラスチツクスリヌブ
をマンドレル本䜓から容易に抜き取るこず
ができる。
なお、䞊蚘実斜䟋においお、マンドレル本䜓
の倖呚面䞊に凹型溝を圢成する䟋を説明し
たが、本発明はこれに限られるものではなく、凹
型溝を党く備えおいないものにも適甚でき
る。
〔発明の効果〕 以䞊の説明から明らかなように、本発明によれ
ば、マンドレル本䜓の倖呚䞊に抌え溝を圢成しお
おき、この抌え溝に向぀お抌蟌みバヌを出入さ
せ、か぀、ヒヌトシヌル板から遠い偎の抌え溝の
肩郚に保持板を抌圧できるようにしたから、成圢
されたプラスチツクスリヌブの重合郚のヒヌトシ
ヌル板に察する融着郚をきわめお容易に匕き剥が
すこずができ、その結果マンドレル本䜓からプラ
スチツクスリヌブをきわめお容易に抜き取るこず
ができる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特蚱請求の範囲】  ロヌルに巻回されたプラスチツクのり゚ブを
    所定の長さに切断しおブランクを圢成し、このブ
    ランクの端郚ず端郚ずが重なり合うようにしお呚
    面䞊に軞線方向の抌え溝を備えたマンドレルの倖
    呚面にブランクを巻き付け、䞊蚘ブランクを真空
    吞匕䜜甚を利甚しおマンドレルの党呚面䞊に吞着
    保持したうえで、䞊蚘ブランクの重ね合せ郚にり
    ゚ルダシヌムバヌを抌し付けお熱溶着するこずに
    よりプラスチツクスリヌブを圢成し、しかるの
    ち、䞊蚘マンドレルの真空吞匕䜜甚を解陀し、保
    持板を䜿぀おプラスチツクフむルムをマンドレル
    の呚面に抌し付けるず同時に抌蟌みバヌを䞊蚘抌
    え溝内に抌し蟌み、プラスチツクスリヌブの重合
    郚ずマンドレルずの間の融着郚を匕き剥がしたの
    ち、マンドレル䞊のプラスチツクスリヌブをマン
    ドレルに沿぀お抌し䞊げるようにしたこずを特城
    ずするプラスチツクスリヌブの補造方法。  真空源に連通可胜な内郚チダンバを備えたマ
    ンドレル本䜓の倖呚面の䞀郚に軞線方向に沿぀お
    䞀条の抌え溝を圢成し、この抌え溝の倖偎に溝底
    に向぀お進退可胜な抌蟌みバヌを蚭け、さらに䞊
    蚘抌え溝の肩のうちヒヌトシヌル板から遠い偎の
