Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 クラツドとコア部からなる光フアイバと、 基板表面の深さ方向に所定の曲率半径ｒで形成
された前記光フアイバ埋設用溝を有する基板から
なり、前記曲率半径ｒを有する溝は光フアイバを
埋設／固定したとき曲面に沿つたクラツドの頂部
が基板の表面よりわずかに低い程度の深さとされ
、前記光フアイバを埋設した側の表面を前記クラ
ツドとともに研磨して前記コアが露出する数μｍ
手前まで除去し、前記基板の２枚を一組とし、研
磨した側のクラツド同士を接触させて固定した光
フアイバカプラにおいて、前記基板の少なくとも
一枚を前記溝の曲率半径より大きな曲率半径Ｒを
有する凸球面状に形成したことを特徴とする光フ
アイバカプラ。
