  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 画素毎に量子化された一方の画像の濃度値を格
    納する第１の画像メモリと、 前記第１の画像メモリの内容を読取つて３×３
    の画素をパイプライン処理にて出力する第１のパ
    イプライン処理用バツフアと、 前記該１のパイプライン処理用バツフアから出
    力される３×３の画素の濃度値のうち行方向の差
    分ｄｘを計算する第１の行方向差分計算回路と、 前記第１のパイプライン処理用バツフアから出
    力される３×３の画素の濃度値のうち列方向の差
    分ｄｙを計算する第１の列方向差分計算回路と、 前記第１の行方向差分計算回路から得られた差
    分ｄｘと前記第１の列方向差分計算回路から得ら
    れた差分ｄｙとから、濃度変化方向の角度ａｒｃ
    ｔａｎ（ｄｙ／ｄｘ）を画素毎に計算する第１
    の角度計算回路と、 前記第１の角度計算回路の出力のヒストグラム
    を格納する第１のメモリと、 画素毎に量子化された他方の画像の濃度値を格
    納する第２の画像メモリと、 前記第２の画像メモリの内容を読取つて３×３
    の画素をパイプライン処理にて出力する第２のパ
    イプライン処理用バツフアと、 前記第２のパイプライン処理用バツフアから出
    力される３×３の画素の濃度値のうち行方向の差
    分ｄｘを計算する第２の行方向差分計算回路と、 前記第２のパイプライン処理用バツフアから出
    力される３×３の画素の濃度値のうち列方向の差
    分ｄｙを計算する第２の列方向差分計算回路と、 前記第２の行方向差分計算回路から得られた差
    分ｄｘと前記第２の列方向差分計算回路から得ら
    れた差分ｄｙとから、濃度変化方向の角度ａｒｃ
    ｔａｎ（ｄｙ／ｄｘ）を画素毎に計算する第２
    の角度計算回路と、 前記第２の角度計算回路の出力のヒストグラム
    を格納する第２のメモリと、 前記第１のメモリと第２のメモリに格納される
    ヒストグラムを各々の角度軸方向に相対的にシフ
    トしながら比較する比較回路とを備え、 前記二つのヒストグラフを各々の角度軸方向に
    相対的にシフトさせながら比較し前記二つのヒス
    トグラムが最も類似する時の前記二つのシフト量
    を求めることによつて前記二つの画像間の回転角
    度差を求めることを特徴とする画像間の回転角度
    差検出装置。
