Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a sealed part and improve the sealing performance by allowing a cam part to revolve and press a cam follower part, accompanied with the insertion of a fuel injection nozzle into the body part of a fuel injection port, and by closely attaching the sealed part onto the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel cap is demounted from a body part 23, a cylinder part 72 and a pusher 100 shift rightward by the pressing by a spring 85. At this time, a sealed part body 33 rides over a seal protecting part 40 and spreads, and conceals the sealed part 30 in the innermost part of the seal protecting part 40, and the interference of a nozzle 19 inserted into a fuel injection port 21 with the sealed part 30 is prevented. When the nozzle 19 is inserted into the body part 23, the nozzle 19 contacts one surface 75a of a cam body part 75, guided by the guide parts 130 and 50, and revolves the cam body part 75. The other surface 75b of the cam body part 75 contacts a cam follower pat 71, and presses said cam follower part 71 to the innermost side of the fuel injection port 21. Further, the sealed part body 33 closely contacts the nozzle 19, and seals the fuel vapor.

<Prior art> Conventionally, for example, the configuration of a fuel inlet 1 for an automobile is as follows:
It was as shown in the figure. The fuel inlet 1 is a cylindrical member that projects obliquely upward and to the right from the right side wall of the fuel tank 3. In addition, the code|symbol 5 in a figure is a preserver hose, the code|symbol 6 is a rollover valve, and the code|symbol 7 is a canister. Then, the fuel injection nozzle 9 is inserted into the fuel injection port 1, and the fuel 11 is poured into the tank 3.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 11, a fuel injection port 10 having a seal portion 14 on the inner peripheral surface has been proposed (see SAE Technical Vapor 851204). In the figure, reference numeral 15 is a retainer, and reference numeral 17 is a trap door. In this fuel injection port 10, when the nozzle 9 is inserted, the trap door 17 opens to the back and the seal portion 14 continuously comes into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle 9 in the circumferential direction (see FIG. 12).

<Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and has a structure in which an elastic polymer material that can be continuously and closely attached to the outer circumferential surface of a fuel injection nozzle in the circumferential direction. A fuel inlet for a vehicle fuel tank comprising a seal part on the inner periphery of a cylindrical main body, the seal part being brought into contact with the seal part to expand the seal part, and the seal part and the tip of the nozzle. At least one of the seal protection part and the seal part is disposed in the main body so as to be movable in the axial direction. A cam follower section connected to a movable member of the seal protection section, and a cam section having a surface that contacts the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle and a surface that contacts the cam follower section, and inserts the nozzle into the main body. In the previous state, the cam follower part is in a position where the seal protection part and the seal part are in contact with each other, and when the nozzle is inserted into the main body part, the cam part rotates and presses the cam follower part towards the back of the main body part. It is characterized by a configuration in which the seal portion and the seal protection portion are separated and the seal portion is brought into close contact with the nozzle.

The seal protection portion 150 has a tapered shape, and its right end small diameter portion has an outer diameter larger than the outer peripheral surface of the nozzle 19 . In addition, the upper surface of the seal protection portion 150 is connected to the seal portion main body 14.
5, the seal main body 145 is expanded as shown in FIG. This makes it difficult for the tip of the nozzle 19 to interfere with the seal body 145 when the nozzle 19 is inserted into the main body 23. In addition, the seal protection part 150 has ■light weight and ■guy 1 part 16.

The guide part 160 is a band-shaped member, and the seal protection part 150
Six lines extend from the right end of the box and are folded back inward. Furthermore, the free end of each guide portion 160 is bent outward. The inner peripheral surface of each guide portion 160 is located on a virtual truncated cone surface, and the small diameter dimension (diameter) of this virtual truncated cone surface is the same as that of the nozzle 19.
Each guide portion 160 is smaller than that of the outer circumferential surface of the nozzle 19 and is made of a metal material having spring elasticity. This results in an elastic tight fit. This stabilizes the trajectory of the nozzle 19.

(Figure s6) In this state, the catch 105 of the cap holder 101 at the end of the fuel cap F is pushed to the left. Therefore, the pressing part 110, which maintains a constant spacing from the cap receiver part 101, moves to the left, and as a result, the member 149 including the seal protection part 150 and the like moves to the left. As a result, the seal protector 150 is separated from the seal main body 145. Therefore, the seal portion main body 145 is not expanded and is in an unloaded state.

Then, the pusher 100 moves to the right, resulting in the state shown in FIG. In this state, the seal protector 150 expands the seal main body 145. As a result, when the seal portion 141 is viewed from the opening 24 side in FIG. 7, it is hidden deep inside the reduced diameter portion 121 of the cover 120. , the tip of the nozzle 19 hardly interferes with the seal portion 141.

When the cam follower section moves, the seal protection section and/or the seal section connected thereto also move, and these are separated from each other. Thereby, the seal portion comes into continuous and close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the nozzle in the circumferential direction. Therefore, a sealing effect against fuel vapor during refueling is ensured.
