  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 外周面から突出した複数の突起を有し、各突起
    の一側面がクラツチ爪当接部となつていて、各ク
    ラツチ爪当接部が回転方向の前方に向く状態で回
    転駆動されるクラツチカムと、 始動用電動機を駆動源として前記クラツチカム
    を回転駆動するクラツチカム駆動機構と、 前記クラツチカムを取り囲む周壁部を有し、内
    燃機関の出力軸に結合されたクラツチプーリと、 前記クラツチ爪当接部に当接する結合位置と該
    クラツチ爪当接部から離脱する離脱位置との間を
    回動し得る状態で前記クラツチプーリの周壁部の
    内側に取り付けられて前記結合位置側にバネで付
    勢され、前記クラツチプーリの回転により生じる
    遠心力により前記離脱位置側に回動させられるク
    ラツチ爪とを備えた内燃機関始動装置において、 前記クラツチカムの各突起のクラツチ爪当接部
    と反対側の部分に該クラツチカムの外周面につな
    がる傾斜面が形成されていることを特徴とする内
    燃機関始動装置。
