For example, a typical example is a pattern woven with gold or silver cut foil. Therefore, it would be of great significance if it were possible to make the patterns woven by cut foil into three-dimensional ones.

By the way, conventionally, cut foil is made by stripping the original cut foil with a three-dimensional pattern on the front surface, and cut foil is made by stripping the original cut foil with paper or resin attached in a pattern on the back side to give it three-dimensionality. However, there are problems in putting these prior art techniques to practical use in weaving three-dimensional patterns. That is, since this conventional cut foil has a three-dimensional pattern or three-dimensionality-imparting portion on the outer surface, either the front or back surface, the convex portion of this portion will not get caught in a shuttle or other fine thread path during weaving of the cut foil, and the weaving will not remain as it is.

問題がある。Conventionally, cut foil with a three-dimensional pattern formed by embossing is also known, but the three-dimensional pattern formed by embossing lacks permanence in its three-dimensional form and has the problem of being lost within a short period of time.

紋様切箔の製造法。A manufacturing method for obtaining cut foil by slitting a strip that includes a laminate made of two base sheets, at least one of which is a rubber roll, by pinching and pressing them together with a pinch roll, and having decorations on the front and back sides or the front surface. , the above-mentioned two base material sheets were coated with a coating material using an engraved pattern roll to form three-dimensional patterns that were symmetrical between the sheets. The base sheet is laminated so as to face each other directly, and the lamination causes the base sheet to swell according to the pattern of the coating material, thereby expressing a three-dimensional pattern on the outer surface. We do it in order to make it something. If the patterns on the base sheet are not directly facing each other but are shifted, the resulting three-dimensional pattern will be out of shape.

According to this, only the decorative area of the pattern woven into the fabric by the three-dimensional pattern cut foil obtained by slitting the cut foil original fabric using the strip is raised on the fabric, and the decoration by the three-dimensional pattern can be effectively expressed.

When a pattern is applied using such a coating material, by heating and foaming it, the swelling effect of the base sheet in the cut foil is improved, and the three-dimensional pattern on the outer surface becomes noticeable.

Since the base sheet swells and appears on the outer surface in accordance with the three-dimensional pattern of the coating material, the three-dimensional pattern on the outer surface of the cut foil has a rounded shape with no edges.

Moreover, the three-dimensional pattern of the original cut foil or cut foil developed in this way is formed by expanding the base sheet with the coating material as the core, as described above, so the three-dimensional pattern is permanent.

However, due to practical strength and other practical issues, Rokuri Screen is large at most, approximately 197mmφ (circumferential length 62mm).
Only those with relatively small diameters, such as 0 mm), exist. With a rotary screen having such a diameter, it is not possible to apply the usual so-called large patterns that are generally required.

Unlike rotary screens, engraved pattern rolls can be used without any problems if they have a diameter that is sufficient for practical purposes. However, on the other hand, the pattern cannot be made very deep with the engraved pattern roll due to actual processing problems. For this reason, the three-dimensionality of the pattern applied to the coating material applied to the base sheet by the engraved pattern roll is insufficient. In the present invention, this problem is solved by applying coating material to two base material sheets using an engraved pattern roll and making the coating pattern plane symmetrical between the sheets. When the two base sheets are pasted together as described above, the three-dimensional patterns of the two base sheets are stacked on top of each other, and the three-dimensionality of the pattern is doubled. Therefore, even if a non-foaming coating material is used, the three-dimensional pattern developed on the outer surface will have sufficient three-dimensionality. Alternatively, in the present invention, a three-dimensional pattern is applied to the base sheet under the abutment using an engraved pattern roll.

It can be expressed as something with a feeling, and if the original cut foil or the decoration of the cut foil is plain, there will be subtle brightness and darkness in the reflection of light in the pattern based on the three-dimensionality of the pattern, and the resulting difference in gloss will give it a feel like a sumi-e painting. Gives a texture. Therefore, the three-dimensional pattern woven into the fabric using the cut foil of the present invention can also be expressed as a sumi-e painting, a rolled paper, or a kinkara leather-like pattern.

る立体紋様切箔の製造法。(1) A manufacturing method for obtaining cut foil by slitting a strip that includes a laminate made by pressing and bonding two base sheets together with a pinch roll, at least one of which is a rubber roll, and that has decorations on the front and back sides or the front surface. The above-mentioned two base sheets are coated with a coating material using an engraved pattern roll to form a three-dimensional pattern that is plane symmetrical between the two sheets. The above-mentioned base material sheets are laminated so that the two sides are on the inside and facing directly, and as a result of the lamination, the base material sheet swells according to the pattern of the coating material application, and a three-dimensional pattern is expressed on the outer surface. A unique method for producing cut foil with three-dimensional patterns.
