Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 従来、刈刃を回転駆動せしめる歯車室を備えた
直杆形の刈払機では、高力アルミニウム合金製の
剛性操作杆内に伝動軸として炭素鋼製の剛性軸を
挿通し、四乃至五個の軸受を用いて支架せしめて
いるが、このものは作業中の振動を低減せしめる
為に、組立時に高精度を要し、また作業時にも操
作杆を曲げてしまわぬ様慎重を要し、さらには比
較的重く、高価になりがちな欠点を有していた。
そこで本考案は、伝動軸としてフレキシブル・
シヤフトを用いることにより、従来の欠点を取り
除いた直杆形刈払機を提供せんとするものであ
る。
次に図に示す実施例に基づき本考案を詳細に説
明する。
本考案による刈払機は第２図に示す如く、直線
状の作業上支障をきたさない程度の必要最低限の
強度を有するアルミニウム合金又はプラスチツク
製パイプ等よりなる剛性操作杆１の上端に２サイ
クル・ガソリン・エンジン等の原動機２を、下端
に刈刃３を回転駆動せしめる歯車室４を配設せし
めたものである。
このものにおいて第１図に示す如く、剛性操作
杆１内に、一端を歯車室４の駆動歯車の軸ボス８
に、他端を原動機２側のクラツチ・ドラムの軸ボ
ス９にそれぞれ回り止め嵌合せしめてフレキシブ
ル・シヤフト５を挿通せしめ、その外周をプラス
チツク等よりなるライナー６により囲繞せしめて
いる。
シヤフト５とライナー６の間にはグリース等の
潤滑剤７を封入して、作業中の発熱等を吸収せし
める。かかる状態で、ライナー６と操作杆１との
間に１mm程度の間隙１０を設けておく。
以上の如く本考案によれば、比較的軽量で振動
を低減せしめた、組立等取り扱いの容易な刈払機
を提供することができる。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 直線状の剛性操作杆１の上端に原動機２を、下
    端に刈刃３を回転駆動せしめる歯車室４を配設
    し、前記操作杆１内に前記原動機２の動力を前記
    歯車室４に伝達せしめるフレキシブル・シヤフト
    ５の外周を潤滑剤７を介して囲繞するライナー６
    を前記操作杆１の内面との間に間隙１０を設けて
    挿通せしめたことを特徴とする直杆形刈払機。
