  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 表示装置に含まれる配線基板の表面に、複数の
    帯状電極が相互に平行に配列された帯状電極群が
    形成され、各帯状電極はその長手方向中央部付近
    において離間されて配列されるマトリクス型表示
    装置の電極構造において、 前記配線基板の表面の周縁部には帯状電極群を
    外囲する環状導電体層が形成され、 帯状電極の環状導電体層に臨む部分に形成され
    、環状導電体層に向かつて突出した第１放電用突
    起と、前記環状導電体層の前記第１放電用突起に
    臨む部分に形成され、電極側に向かつて突出した
    第２放電用突起とを含み、 前記第１放電用突起と第２放電用突起との間隙
    長を各帯状電極の離間部の離間距離よりも小さく
    選ぶことを特徴とするマトリクス型表示装置の電
    極構造。
