Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 ［産業上の利用分野コ 本発明は化粧品、繊維処理剤および浴剤なとの分野に使
用されるスクワレンおよびスクワランのエマルジョン組
成物に関する。
［従来の技術とその課題］ スクワランを界面活性剤で乳化してエマルジョンとなし
て使用する技術は公知である。しかるに、例えばポリオ
キシエチレンソルビタンモノオレートおよびポリオキシ
エチレンソルビタントリオレートを界面活性剤として乳
化して成るエマルジョンは、水に乳化分散するものの経
時的に安定せず、油分が分離する傾向があった。
特に、固形分濃度が低い場合にかかる経時変化が顕著に
認められる傾向がある。
そこで本発明の目的は、従来のスクワレンまたはスクワ
ランの乳化組成物に０２〜Ｃ８の飽和有機モノまたはジ
カルボン酸を添加することによりさらに優れた乳化安定
性や乳化分散性を達成することにある。
［課題を解決するための手段］ すなわち本発明は、 （ａ）スクワレンおよび／またはスタフ９フ１００重量
部 （ｂ） ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノオレート、ポリオキ
シエチレンソルビタンジオレート、ポリオキシエチレン
ソルビタントリオレート、および ポリオキシエチレンラウリルエーテルリンリウム塩 から成る群から選択された少なくとも一種の界面活性剤 １５〜１００重量部 （Ｃ）飽和有機モノまたはジカルボン酸０、５〜５重量
部 から成り、残部が水であるエマルジョン組成物に関する
。
以下、本発明をさらに詳しく説明する スクワレンおよびスクワランは単独でも混合しても使用
できる。これらは鮫などの魚類の肝油、オリーブなどの
植物から採取されている何れでもよい。また合成品でも
よい。
これらを乳化すべき界面活性剤としては、ポリオキシエ
チレンソルビタンモノオレート、ポリオキシエチレンソ
ルビタンジオレート、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタント
リオレート、およびポリオキシエチレンラウリルエーテ
ルリン酸ナトリウム塩から成る群から選択された少なく
とも一種の界面活性剤である。これらの界面活性剤は単
独でも混合しても使用できる。これらは、スクワレンま
たはスクワランの１００重量部に対して１５〜１００、
好ましくは２５〜５０重量部使用する。該範囲をはずれ
て界面活性剤を使用するといずれもたとえカルボン酸を
使用したとしても安定した乳化組成物が得られないため
好ましくない。特に好ましくはポリオキシエチレンソル
ビタンモノオレート（その合計量をＡとする）とポリオ
キシエチレンソルビタントリオレート（その合計量をＢ
とする）とを併用し、両者の重量比Ａ／Ｂが１以下であ
ることが適当である。
本発明において、０８以下の飽和有機モノまたはジカル
ボン酸をスクワレンおよびスクワランの１００重量部に
対して０．５〜５、好ましくは０、７〜１．０重量部を
添加する。炭素数が０９以上のカルボン酸を使用した場
合や、上記使用範囲を外れた場合は何れも、低濃度にお
けるエマルジョン安定性を改良するというカルボン酸の
添加効果が得られないため好ましくない。
０８以下の飽和有機モノまたはジカルボン酸としては酢
酸、プロピオン酸、酪酸、吉草酸、カプロン酸、エナン
ト酸、カプリル酸、しゆう酸、マロン酸、コハク酸、グ
ルタミン酸、アジピン酸、ピメリン酸、スペリン酸など
が挙げられる。特に好ましくは乳化安定性や安全性の観
点からコハク酸である。
なお本発明の目的の範囲で従来公知の他の界面活性剤ま
たは添加剤例えば酸化防止剤、乳化助剤などを適宜の量
で混合でできる。
本発明のエマルジョン組成物は従来公知の方法で製造で
きるが、例えばスクワレンおよびスクワランに攪拌下に
界面活性剤を徐々に添加し、終了後次いでカルボン酸水
溶液を同じく徐々に添加する。最後に水を添加してエマ
ルジョンとする。
本発明のエマルジョン組成物は、乳化分散性や乳化安定
性に優れる外に、使用する界面活性剤も安全性の高いも
のであるため化粧品や繊維処理剤、浴剤などの基剤とし
て有用である。
［実施例コ 以下、実施例により本発明を説明するが、本発明はこれ
らの実施例のみに限定されるものではない。
実ＪＬ［硼 配合方法： スクワレン２００ｇを攪拌しながらポリオキシエチレン
ソルビタンモノオレートの４０ｇを徐々に添加した。次
いでポリオキシエチレンソルビタントリオレートの１０
ｇを徐々に加えた。さらに１０％コハク酸水溶液（６０
’Ｃて調製した）をスクワレン１００重量部に対して０
．２５〜１．０重量部になるように５．１０，２０ｇを
それぞれ添加し各種コハク酸濃度を有する液を調製した
。
最後に水を合計が１０００ｇになるように添加してスク
ワレン２０％濃度のエマルジョン組成物を調製した。
上記組成物は、次いて固形分１％になるようにそれぞれ
水て希釈し、２４時間放置後の乳化状態を目視で観察し
た。結果を第１表に示した。

したが、同じ結果が得られた。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）（ａ）スクワレンおよび／またはスクワラン　１
    ００重量部 （ｂ）ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノオレート、ポ
    リオキシエチレンソルビタンジオレート、ポリオキシエ
    チレンソルビタントリオレート、およびポリオキシエチ
    レンラウリルエーテルリン酸ナトリウム塩から成る群か
    ら選択された少なくとも一種の界面活性剤　１５〜１０
    ０重量部 （ｃ）炭素数８以下の飽和有機モノまたはジカルボン酸
    　０．５〜５重量部 から成り残部が水であるエマルジョン組成物。
  2. （２）前記界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンソルビ
    タンモノオレートおよびポリオキシエチレンソルビタン
    トリオレートを用いる特許請求の範囲第１項記載のエマ
    ルジョン組成物。
  3. （３）前記カルボン酸としてコハク酸を用いる特許請求
    の範囲第１項記載のエマルジョン組成物。
