異物が挟入する場合があり、従来からこの異物を
検出する装置として、例えば実公昭41−8349号、
同46−28374号、同49−31348号、同55−20712号
に記載されているように、この櫛板4の部分に異
物を検出するセンサーを取付け、異物検出時に
は、マンコンベヤを停止させる等の工夫がなされ
ている。このため特殊なセンサーを必要とし、か
つこのセンサーは常時櫛板4に取付けられた状態
で運転されることになる。その結果、マンコンベ
ヤは、クリート溝内の異物が検出される毎に停止
し、稼動時間が減少してサービスが低下する。ま
た、乗客が実際に利用するものであるため、櫛板
を極く僅かしか動かすことができない上、櫛板の
支持構造もそのようになつていないので、櫛板の
極く僅かな動きを検出するためには、櫛板の動き
を拡大する機構が不可欠であり、構成が非常に複
雑となつてしまう。
