Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 操作桿１２の前端部に、回転刈刃１８と、
    この回転刈刃１８の作業者側を覆う安全カバー２
    ６とを備える刈払機１０において、前記安全カバ
    ー２６は前記回転刈刃１８に対して変位自在であ
    り、作業者により操作される操作部材３０，７２
    が作業中の作業者の近傍の個所に設けられている
    ことを特徴とする刈払機用安全カバー装置。 (2) 前記安全カバー２６を前記刈払機用安全カ
    バー装置の前後方向へ案内する案内部材３２が設
    けられ、前記操作部材３０，７２は揺動自在の操
    作用揺動レバー３０，７２から成り、この操作用
    揺動レバー３０，７２は運動伝達部材５８，７８
    ，８０，９６を介して前記安全カバー２６へ連結
    していることを特徴とする請求項１記載の刈払機
    用安全カバー装置。 (3) 前記案内部材３２に設けられている係止用
    凹部５０と、この係止用凹部５０に嵌入自在に前
    記安全カバー２６の案内穴５２に配設される係止
    用凸部５４と、この係止用凸部５４が前記係止用
    凹部５０へ嵌入する方向へ前記係止用凸部５４を
    付勢する第１の付勢部材５６と、前記運動伝達部
    材５８，７８，８０，９６を構成し先端部におい
    て前記係止用凸部５４に結合しているワイヤ５８
    と、前記安全カバー２６を前方へ付勢している第
    ２の付勢部材６８と、前記ワイヤ５８による前記
    操作用揺動レバー３０，７２の方への前記係止用
    凸部５４の変位を制限して前記ワイヤ５８による
    前記操作用揺動レバー３０，７２の方への前記安
    全カバー２６の連行を確保するストツパ５７とを
    有してなることを特徴とする請求項２記載の刈払
    機用安全カバー装置。 (4) 前記安全カバー２６は支持点８８の回りに
    回転自在に前記操作桿１２に結合し、前記操作部
    材３０，７２は操作用揺動レバー３０，７２であ
    り、前記運動伝達部材５８，７８，８０，９６は
    、前記操作用揺動レバー３０，７２からの前記操
    作桿１２の軸方向の運動を前記安全カバー２６の
    回転方向の運動へ変換する中間レバー９２を含む
    ことを特徴とする請求項１記載の刈払機用安全カ
    バー装置。
