CONSTITUTION:The crank shaft of a V-type engine 7 is installed in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle. A projecting wall 7p is projected in the crank shaft direction on a crank case 7a, while providing connection between right/left cylinder lines 7R, and 7L with a connecting wall 7c. A modulus of section is thus increased, while rigidity can be increased against the bending power in the vertical direction or twisting power.

あるいはピストンとの間の摩擦抵抗を増加させ、最犬出
力を低下させるのみならず、条件によっては摺動部に焼
付きを生じさせるなどの不具合がおる。

る下方のクランクケースとで構成し、前記クランクケー
スにクランク軸方向の突壁を突設すると共に、左右のシ
リンダ列間を連結壁によって連結した点に特徴がある。
