DESCRIPTION OF PRIOR ART FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a conventional electronic component that led to the invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along the line -- in FIG. 1. Referring to FIG. 2, electronic component 1 includes an internal element 2, such as a piezoelectric element, and a case 3 that accommodates internal element 2. Terminals 4 and 5 are connected to the internal element 2, and these terminals 4 and 5 are led out through an opening 6 of the case 3. Incidentally, this type of electronic component requires perfect sealing performance in order to improve the reliability of its operating characteristics, and therefore the case opening 6 is sealed with a sealing resin 7.

The electronic component 1 is manufactured by first arranging the internal element 2 and the terminals 4 and 5 in a case 3 (in the example shown in FIG. 2, the case 3 consists of an inner case 3a and an outer case 3b). , by filling the case opening 6 with resin 7. However, as the resin 7, a thermosetting resin is used in order to obtain more reliable adhesion to the case 3, but since heat is applied to the inside of the case 3 when filling the case opening 6, the pressure inside the case is reduced. There was a problem that internal air was taken into the molten resin 7 or spouted out from the resin 7 portion. For this reason, there was a problem in that reliable sealing could not be achieved. In order to solve this problem, a through hole 8 with a relatively small diameter is conventionally formed in a part of the case 3 as shown in FIG. 2, and the air expanded when the resin 7 is sealed is directed outside. Attempts have been made to allow the through hole 8 to escape and then seal the through hole 8 with a resin 9 that hardens at room temperature.

However, since the through-hole 8 has a relatively small diameter, a slight change in the air pressure inside the case 3 may cause the sealing resin 9 filled in the through-hole 8 to spout out to the outside of the case or leak inside the case. It had the drawback of being sucked in. That is, the first
Even in the examples shown in the figures and FIG. 2, it was still impossible to achieve complete sealing of the electronic component 1.

Manufacturing of the electronic component 1 of this embodiment is started by first housing the internal element 2 and the terminals 4, 5 in the case 3 consisting of an inner case 3a and an outer case 3b. An opening 6 for housing the internal element 2 is formed in the outer case 3b, and a through hole 8 is formed in the inner case 3a to prevent internal pressure fluctuations when the case opening 6 is sealed with resin. has been done. A resin portion 11 to be welded, which is a characteristic structure of the present invention, is formed near the through hole 8, here around the through hole 8. In addition, in the example shown in FIG. 3, this portion 11 to be welded is formed in a shape that projects outward from the inner case 3a and surrounds the through hole 8, but the through hole 8 is sealed by welding. It may have any shape as long as it can be obtained; for example, it may be a protrusion that contacts only a portion of the through hole 8.

Next, apply the first sealing resin 7a to the extent that the resin does not cover the protruding end 11a of the portion 11 to be welded.
The case opening 6 is filled. Heating the sealing resin 7a
By curing, the sealing resin 7a and the outer case 3
b can be brought into close contact with the other parts. At this time, even if the pressure inside the case 3 increases due to the heating of the sealing resin 7a, the air inside can easily flow out through the through hole 8. Therefore, the first sealing resin 7a reliably comes into close contact with the outer case 3b, forming a complete seal.

Next, the protruding end portion 11a of the portion 11 to be welded is heated and welded to seal the through hole 8. Therefore, since the through hole 8 is sealed integrally with the inner case 3a, the sealing strength of the through hole 8 is much greater than that of the conventional resin sealing shown in FIG.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the second sealing resin 7
b is inside the case opening 6, that is, the first sealing resin 7
Fill the outside of a, heat and harden. Thereby, the case opening 6 can be completely sealed, and the part 11 to be welded is hidden, so that the electronic component 1 with excellent appearance can be obtained.

In the manner described above, the electronic component 1 which is one embodiment of the present invention can be obtained, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. That is, the case 3 does not necessarily have to be composed of an inner case 3a and an outer case 3b, and can also be applied to a sealed electronic component composed of only a single case. In addition, the through hole 8 and the part 1 to be welded
1 may also be formed at any position on the case.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a resin portion to be welded is formed near the through hole for preventing internal pressure fluctuations when sealing the case opening with resin, and the resin portion to be welded is The through-hole is sealed by welding, which eliminates the negative effects on internal elements and poor appearance caused by the resin that seals the through-hole being sucked into the case or ejected to the outside of the case. can do. In addition, since the through hole is sealed by thermal welding of resin,
A strong seal can be achieved very easily. Furthermore, since thermal welding is used for sealing, thermal stress is only applied to a limited portion. Therefore, it can be applied to thin cases that are susceptible to stress without any problems.
This is advantageous for electronic components that are required to be made smaller or thinner. Furthermore, since all of the sealing resins used can be of thermosetting type, more reliable sealing can be achieved and highly reliable electronic components can be obtained. In this case, in this invention, since the case has a double structure of an inner case and an outer case, and the inner case is provided with a through hole, it is necessary to fill the sealing resin so as to further cover the through hole. It is also possible to ensure highly reliable sealing performance.
