与えて商品価値を高めるために形成したものであ

粘密に接触させることができる。その場合、環状
溝7の側壁面9に付けたテーパーの働きによつて
シール材10が第3図の矢印方向に押圧されるの
で、特に金属管1の内表面に対してシール材10
が強く密着し、優れた水封効果を発揮する。従つ
て、たとえ金属管1の外表面とキヤツプ5との間
から水が浸入しても管内まで入らないので、金属

粘着性を有し、金属管の端面及び内表面と粘密に
接触するので、水封効果はすこぶる良好である。
従つて、金属管内面に錆が発生するのを満足に防
