Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 画像形成装置本体の短手および長手方向に沿う
    一方面にそれぞれ設けられた給紙口および排紙口
    と、画像形成装置本体の短手方向に沿う他方面近
    傍に設けられた定着部と、給紙口から現像部、転
    写部を介して定着部に至る画像形成部と、この画
    像形成部下方に設けられ、画像形成部を通つた画
    像形成済み用紙を用紙の進行方向に反転させて一
    旦貯留し再び画像形成部へ搬送することが可能な
    中間トレイと、この中間トレイに用紙があること
    を検知するための用紙検知手段と、両面画像形成
    をおこなう第１モード、又は単一画像形成をおこ
    なう第２モードを指令する画像形成指令手段と、
    この指令手段および用紙検知手段の出力を受けて
    、第１モードが指令されたときには画像形成継続
    信号を出力して中間トレイに貯留される回数が所
    定回数になるまで画像形成済み用紙を画像形成部
    を介して循環させ、第２モードが指令されたとき
    には画像形成終了信号を出力して中間トレイに貯
    留された画像形成済み用紙を排出するよう制御す
    る制御手段とを備えた画像形成装置。
