Claims (1)
- シリンダ列方向からみて略Ｕ字形の断面で、そ
の両側辺部にシリンダブロツク下端への締結部分
を有する補強プレートを備えるとともに、この補
強プレート上に、ベアリングキヤツプの下面に締
結されるステイフナが、シリンダ列方向と直交す
る方向に延びて両端が補強プレートの両側辺近傍
に至るように配置された状態で固着され、このス
テイフナは、その長さ方向中央側のベアリングキ
ヤツプ締結部分の断面形状が略台形とされ、その
断面形状が長さ方向両側では次第に変化して、端
に近付く程高さが低く、かつ下辺が狭くなるよう
に形成されていることを特徴とするエンジンのシ
リンダブロツク補強部材。
